Property very well maintained Location is Close to everything in Saint Louis

The hotel was dank. almost all of the carpeting was faded and discolored. I had to ask the front desk for a remote. The towels were very thin, and there was no extra blanket for the bed. The elevator was creaky. The price point was good because the hotel could not have charged more than they did because no one would've stayed there.

It's noisy. They smoked cigarettes and weed all the time in the next room. He doesn't respond to problems at the reception. The TV was screaming all night. It's better not to come to this hotel with children.

Room was clean but needs updated, bathroom was in need of several repairs but was clean. Air worked great and we never had issues parking. The smell walking into the facility and in the hall and in the room was not pleasant. Smelled of mildew and marijuana.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, and it seems to have gone downhill a bit since then. The room was clean but not well maintained with certain items that should really have been replaced like the desk chair. Also one of the two elevators was out. The check in was a bit of a mess with the front desk not assisting people in the order that they had come to the desk (even though there were only three of us). It was also impossible to reach the hotel with a question before my stay. No one answered at any numbers I found online. The email address I found online bounced back, and they never answered any of the messages sent through Expedia. When I went to check out no one was at the desk. I rang the bell but no one came, and I could hear their phone ringing off the hook. There were several keys lying on the desk next to a sign that said “welcome.” I assumed (hoped) this was a key drop off (albeit an unsecured one), so I added my key to the pile and left. The hotel is very close to the Muny, and it is quiet and in a safe neighborhood, but right now that is the main thing it has going for it. I hope they make improvements and that it does not continue to go downhill. Making it easier to ask pre-check in questions would be a good start.

The bathroom was quite small and felt a bit cramped, so something to keep in mind if space is important to you. During my stay, I noticed two roaches in the lobby, although I did not see any in my room. One challenge was noise, the neighboring room played very loud music late into the night, which made it difficult to sleep. The surrounding area also had a noticeable number of homeless individuals, which may be something some travelers want to be aware of when choosing this location.

You get what you pay for. This is a shell of something that used to be great. Safe and not gross but definitely not upscale or fancy. Rooms are very run down and basic BUT you do get a balcony and safe parking.

Air conditioning went out

The area has homeless people and random people asking for the password to get into the hotel….floors were wet so much my feet were black. Did not feel safe.

As I opened the door to my room, I am hit with heat, as they turn off all A/C when someone checks out. Then I notice the smell of old cigarette smoke mixed with mold. They have placed an Ozone Generator in the room to try to get rid of the smell, it is not currently running. I went to the desk, asked for a different room, thankfully they had another room available. The new room was good, no problems. Also, please note, that even though it states that there is a blowdryer in each room, there is not. I had to call the desk and request one, three times before they found one for me. And as far as toiletries go, they only supply you with shampoo and a bar of soap. So girls, make sure you bring your own conditioner. A few positives, the location was decent and parking is free.

One out of two elevators out of service and the working one was creepy to say the least. Walls are thin and noisy late through the night

Very moldy must

Nothing

Room was OK. Sofa dirty. Bed comfortable. No tissue (Kleenex) in the room. Air conditioner was noisy and old. The 7th floor rooms have kitchens. Smell from cooking was overwhelming. Had to move to a different room in a different floor.

Tony at the front desk is a great customer service representative. Made the stay great. Thank you Tony!

I assumed the hotel would be a much nicer hotel, being around forest park, and named after it. This is most definitely a low end hotel. One elevator didn't work the other sounded like it shouldn't. They were out of blankets when we stayed and didn't

I only booked this hotel in hopes to use the pool that they said closed at 10:00 p.m. every night because I work late and wouldn't like to enjoy the pool along with my son and girlfriend we got there there were huge ripples in the carpets in the main hallways which my girlfriend tripped on The elevator was the slowest and scariest elevator ride I think I've ever had to take it made at least six different sounds the entire time going up and down and was very jerky The rooms were not as pristine as they looked in the pictures at all The sliding glass door to the balcony could barely open and made a horrible screeching sound when it did The pool closed at 6:31 night was closed the next day and was never open past 8:00 p.m. and on the last day of our stay when we were supposed to be checking out the elevator was completely out of use and we were on the 7th floor with 5 days of stay worth of bags and luggage left to carry all the way down the steps from the seventh floor and they wanted to try and charge us a late checkout fee for taking so long completely getting out of the room when it took us 10 times longer than it should have and lots more energy because of the stairs and the elevator situation I will never go back again I advise you not to either
