After booking the Hotels.com room we decided we wanted to arrive a day earlier. There was no availability at the time. Calling the hotel directly, it was suggested that my best hope was to call the hotel directly for possible cancellationsT. About two weeks later, we were able to arrange a second room night through the hotel. It sounded good. We could get the two queen bed deluxe room we needed. The price was significantly higher, but there were few options as we were getting close to a holiday weekend. To our dismay, the "deluxe" room was so small, that we could not roll suitcases past the queen bed closest to the door. The air conditioning wast feel that it came close to the quality I expect of a downtown Hilton hotel. It felt more like a cheap highway motel. It might of been an acceptable room with one bed, but shoe-horning the second bed into the room was terrible. It was crowded and uncomfortable. The hotel staff were great. They gave special attention to our need to transfer from one room to another, and even gave us a free upgrade. So, I applaud Hilton for their excellent staff.

Bottom line: This is a hotel I definitely will stay at again.

The room was excellent. Location was great and staff was friendly and courteous.

Good room and great staff.

The room was clean. The bed was okay, though the bedding kept slipping off. The room itself was somewhat dated and light streamed in from outside in spite of the blinds. The bathroom was fine, though not luxurious. In all, it didn’t feel luxurious. The lobby is quite nice, and they have a bodega where you can purchase expensive snacks from the hotel. The food service was absurd, frankly. Breakfast buffet was fine, but the dinner service was laughable because the hotel was literally out of every single item we ordered. We picked up and walked over to the Hyatt. The valets do a great job, but $49/day feels extreme for St. Louis, Missouri. I would not recommend this hotel.

No bottle water in room.

Wonderful stay!

While not a new hotel with a ton of amenities, it is close to many of the main attractions around town.

Excellent location and historic building

The stay wasn’t horrible, but I would’ve expected more for how much I spent per night. I paid for/booked a higher level floor, but was told no rooms were available. The first room we were given was not clean…unmade beds and towels on the floor. The second room we were given was Ok, but lower level so a lot of noise. Coffee machines were in the room but they were out of coffee cups. So the only way to have coffee was to pay for it in their restaurant or walk to block to local coffee shop. I know, petty things to point out…but again I’d expect a lot more for my visit given the price per night.

The room was clean but very basic. The elevator was sketchy and there was lots of noise from surrounding guests. The staff was not very friendly or helpful.

It’s a nice place. Beds were old and the rooms are on the smaller side though.
-
It was a nic hotel. Room was very clean and everything in order. The guys that checked us in was awesome

Very clean, good food, good prices, great location for ballpark and arch and safe location to walk to both.
-
Staff was friendly. The pictures made the hotel seem newer than it is. Our room had a solid wall to the outside with two small windows. The picture of The Arch on the images is not taken from their location.
-
Close to many tourist attractions. Parking garage secure and safe. The front desk personnel were quite helpful and friendly. Would stay at this hotel again.
