Beautiful building!
-
Room was clean breakfast was good
-
Location, spa Pool and space around it was pretty small.

Bartenders, restaurant staff, housekeeping, front desk, and not to mention the valet are beyond welcoming. The staff makes sure they go above and beyond, giving you that luxury vibe feel to your vacation. This is the only hotel in downtown St. Louis I stay at due to the fact that o feel at home and safe.

It’s a nice hotel overall. Well it needs to get renovated the bathrooms especially and the beds. When we arrived I had food crumbs in the bed before getting into it I just had arrived. Parking was trouble and I’d parked in the grave across the street they don’t even honor those tickets. The hotel need to do better! Scenery is nice, gives upscale

Great historic hotel. Rooms have been updated nicely. Had a soaking tub and a shower. Very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only knock is lots of surrounding buildings are vacant and boarded up. But we walked to local restaurant and to stadium and back with no problems

Staff was friendly

Specifically picked this hotel due to its proximity to Busch Stadium, went to a ball game and wanted to be able to walk to, and from the stadium back to the hotel. I didn't choose to do valet, and just parked in the garage across the street for $30 for less than 24 hr parking. Didn't really have time to use any of the amenities the hotel offered, but the bar/dining area looked really nice.

It is tradition for my sons and i to attend the Cubs Cardinals game and spoil ourselves in a fancy hotel. It had been 3 years because of medical issues on my part. I chose this hotel specifically for the ambiance, swimming pool, upscale hotel room amenities, city view, and valet parking. Unfortunately we arrived at a nice hotel surrounded by empty vandalized buildings, there was no where to park to get valet or check in, so no good parking options except sketchy parking garage across the street. When arriving to the hotel room our city view was an abandoned vandalized building. Our toilet was supposed to have a bidet, but it did not work. There was a tv in the bathroom did not work. There was a record player but alas it's Bluetooth did not work. In the morning I was excited to use the rooftop pool but only found a unkempt pool that had a broken filtration system, the seats and floor had dirty boot prints on them, and the view was a closeup of vandalism spreading in St Louis. A positive is the lobby, halls, and rooms were clean. The staff that welcomed us at check in were nice and the doorman this morning at check out was kind. It saddens me leaving this review but upscale pricing should have upscale working amenities that make you feel relaxed and spoiled. Next time we will just drive 5 hours back home rather than stay here. 😞

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway, and it was great. Room service was quick, pool was heated. And walking distance to food and activities made things convenient . Overall great stay. Record player in the room was a nice surprise.
-
Amazing stay would stay again. Pool was okay could’ve been bigger, it’s very small. Stayed for one night!
-
Our stay has been wonderful except for the fact that our room never gets cleaned and the only other complaint is that although it is advertised as handicapped accessible in the bathroom the shower has no grab bars and no seating in the shower. The other drawback on handicapped accessible is the front doors in the lobby have not got one that is easily available for the handicapped.
