Hampton Inn & Suites St. Petersburg/Downtown

The valet staff was very nice. The cleaning staff was very nice. The location was central to what we were doing in St. Pete. When we first got to the hotel, it was really hard to get the cars parked with valet as valet was super backed up, and we had to drive around the block a few times. The person working the desk was rude and kept telling us they had no items like tea (that was out), shower caps. He told my child she had to come down to the front desk to get an extra blanket, made her go with him to the storage closet alone, and then handed the extra blanket, the storage room was next to our room on the third floor which he needed to unlock so her going down was not needed, and creepy. She is 12. Breakfast was not good, and there were limited healthy vegetarian options for my friend. The room did not smell clean, and was very cramped compared to the description.

Loved the terrace room I booked. The mini fridge didn't work and had a weird smell but other than that the room was perfect. The location is AMAZING! I was in town for a concert at Jannus Live and it was a super quick walk. Then in the morning I walked to the pier which was gorgeous. Would stay again.

The staff went above and beyond every step of the way. From helping with handicap accommodations to a nicely stocked breakfast, they were top notch at anticipating our needs. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had.

Location was great. Went for a concert and the venue was a block away so we could walk and find great restaurants afterwards. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. Liked the valet parking. The beds were a little uncomfortable but not too bad. Also there wasn't a laundry bag hanging in the closet to put our dirty clothes in and didn't know the best way to get one. Thought if I called the front desk, it would take forever to get one small thing so we just put it in another bag we had.

The location was excellent and walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was served until ten and they were refilling with fresh hot sausage at ten. No rush to leave the breakfast area. Truly one of the cleanest and nicest Hampton Inns we have stayed. Valet was also quick and friendly. We will definitely be back.!!!!!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Desk staff was very Helpful. Valet guys were awesome. Breakfast was awful. Would stay again but go out for breakfast. Was there for the baseball games and there is a free shuttle 1 1/2 blocks from hotel to and from stadium!

Took a while to check in as the on site member was fixing a tv so many of us had to wait 20 plus minutes for someone to show up. After we checked in all was well. Room was nice and breakfast was great.

Hampton Inn - you can’t beat the ideal downtown location, very close to the Pier and all downtown restaurants and museums.

Hotel is great with great customer service. Location is perfect, with everything in walking distance!
