We DoorDash food and Instacart a couple things that we needed and for some reason, the food came to the room, but all of a sudden security said Instacart couldn’t deliver to the room. So either, their security sucks because they let someone through or their security makes their customers come down and retrieve their own things. One of the main reasons, my husband and I went was because there was a rooftop pool with a tiki bar and cabanas that you could reserve. However, the day that we were there to do that, there was a private event by Jose Cuervo, and no one who was staying at the hotel was allowed to go up to the pool. Their consolation prize was a ticket to a crappy canned alcoholic beverage. There is zero counter space and no dresser. You have to hang everything on these weird hooks because there are no closets. There is no table space under the TV as it is wall mounted. There are two drawers under the bed and two weird spaces to store stuff and that’s about it except for a couple very small nightstands that were not even sufficient to fit the Keurig that I also had to go get myself. Lastly, there is no microwave and the absolutely miniature refrigerator did not work. They spend way too much time trying to be cool and pretty and instead, they’ve created an environment that doesn’t represent hospitality. We won’t ever be staying there again.

Okay wouldn’t stay there again. Rooms are for midgets.

The property is centrally located in St.Petersburg, downtown core, located close to the pier and various shopping and dining places, all of which can be walked to. The property was very clean and had all these small touches of flavored water in the lobby, stash closet with extra supplies you may have forgotten and a beautiful rooftop pool. At check-in, Rene at the front desk was amazing. She accommodated all our requests, very friendly and held our luggage and offered us bottles of water and tokens for complementary drinks while we waited for our room to be ready. We will definitely stay here again and strongly recommend to others.

Enjoyed our stay there. Clean rooms and fun amenities. Love the pool side bar

This hotel has everything just minutes away. So swabjy and modern. I cannot wait to return here.
-
Other than this, the hotel is in a great spot. Walking distance to many restaurants. If you are headed to a rays game, the hotel is an easy 3 minute walk.
-
Pool was pathetic, no refrigerator, they use a mini makeup cooler to subsidize a refrigerator smh

The thermostat was not working properly and would not go below 71. The door had to be slammed shut otherwise it would stick and not close fully. The shower head had a tremendous amount of calcium buildup and needs to be treated. The shower door gasket was peeling off more than halfway. Waited in lobby at front desk to check in with nobody at the desk for 8 minutes. The Valet staff were kind, respectful and courteous when promptly picking up or dropping off the vehicle.

The Moxy St. Petersburg Fl has dirty rooms upon arrival. They make it right by switching you to a clean room the next day. The pool cabanas are dirty stains. The pool water is clean and the tanning chairs are okay. The bar is clean and service is great.

Overall a nice hotel. Had some issues our first day that required us to switch rooms 3 times. But for the most part the staff and manager were very helpful with getting room issues addressed and moving us to a mew room. Great location…within walking distance of a ton of great restaurants and bars.

Room was cute. Loud bands every night literally vibrating my bed from the 6th floor could NOT sleep either night we were there, horrible elevator staff rammed the cart onto the elevator breaking out items, shower was way too hot felt like lava, freezing room, sketchy location with zero parking, no stair access we have sensitivities to elevators and the doors to the stairs were locked, couldn't use the trash cans in the room because there were no trash bags, even with the do not disturb sign on the door housekeeping came in anyway when the sign is on the handle it means DO NOT COME IN.

Renee at the front desk was amazing. She got my sister some treats for her birthday as a surprise. So helpful and sweet. The rooms were clean and well cared for. I would definitely stay there again

We paid for an accessible room, but the air conditioning was not working for the first day and a half of our stay. Maintenance came multiple times but was unable to fix the issue. We ended up sleeping one night in a hot room with both our baby and our older child, which was incredibly uncomfortable. By the following day, the room had only gotten hotter, and after spending a significant portion of our stay waiting for a resolution, we were finally moved to a different room. However, the replacement room was not equivalent to the accessible room we had originally booked and paid for. To make matters worse, every time we entered the lobby, there was a very strong smell of marijuana. Traveling with young children, this was extremely unpleasant and not the kind of environment we expected. For the amount we paid, we expected much better accommodations and customer service. While the staff was polite, the issues were never resolved in a timely manner, and we lost a large part of our short stay dealing with problems that should have been addressed immediately. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.
