Staff was friendly.

The staff is very nice. The location is excellent specially if you go to a game at the Tropicana Field. It has a lot of restaurants and bar.

So much stuff to do in a hotel.

The valet attendants were friendly and quite quick. The location was perfect to walk to Tropicana Field as it was only a 5-minute walk to the baseball game, but the hotel itself needed some work. We'd looked at the reviews and most people gave it high marks, but our room was definitely not what we have come to expect from the Hilton franchise. We've stayed at other Tru and Hilton hotels, and the rooms have always been quite clean and definitely not this dirty. I discovered the laminate floors were disgusting when I accidentally spilled a little water, and the Kleenex i used to dry it up came up dark gray. The bathroom floors were not much better. One of the pillowcases' had what we could only guess was dried blood on it and had definitely not been washed. The stopper in the sink wouldn't stay up, so the sink was full of water and very slow to drain. We definitely won't be staying there again when we come for games.

Unfortunately, our experience with the morning front desk employee, Gretchen, was the complete opposite. Every interaction with her was unpleasant. I asked where I could get ice because the ice machine wasn't working, and instead of trying to help, she responded in a condescending tone by asking, "Did you push the button?" Of course I had it felt like she assumed I had no common sense. Later, my 9-year-old child politely asked for a fork, and Gretchen replied, "Don't you see there are none?" I was honestly shocked by how she spoke to a child. There was no reason to be rude. The final straw was when I requested housekeeping after we'd spent the day at the beach and had sand throughout the room. Instead of trying to accommodate us, Gretchen simply told me, "No, you'll be checking out soon." We still had time left in our stay, and a simple room refresh would have made a big difference. The lack of basic courtesy and customer service from the morning front desk staff really overshadowed our stay. The valet team and Brittany deserve recognition because they were the only employees who made us feel welcome. I hope management addresses these issues, as no guest should be treated this way.

Good locations, clean and good customer service.

Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Especially the front deak & bus driver. The lounge was a fun plane for me & my family to hang out & play games while passing times. Not the bougiest lobby the world but I prefer that way. Would stay again for sure.

Our stay here it’s always amazing. This is our fourth time here the valet service. It’s awesome.

Great place for families!

The amenities were superb and we used almost all of them. The room was a little small; however, we had 2 walkers in our room and they didn't get in our way at all.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms were very nice very clean. I did ask for a make up and did not get it. Pretty sad when your help doesn’t do with the people want.

Door to bathroom did not close it was stuck at attem to close and the internet connection did not work on the left side facing the TV

Great staffs and very clean

No pool - just like a wading pool. I also like coffee pot in my room so I don't have to get dressed immediately in the morning to run to the lobby.

Great location. Simple but everything you need. Breakfast, nice lobby.

It was very conveniently located in the middle of the restaurants and true walking distance to the Tropicana. The staff was great and the real convenience store on the ground floor was definitely a plus. Parking is limited and expensive but the valet system they use is great. You can contact the valet before leaving the room, via text to have your car ready. As the saying goes, It's all about location, location, location.
