VIinoy House

The location was perfect. The house was comfortable but could use updating. The yard needed clean up. I thought we would have been served a hot breakfast but instead we were given a sandwich the first morning and the second morning we were given a gift card to a restaurant within walking distance. I thought we were overcharged for the quality of our stay.

​To make matters worse, we stayed during a storm, and tree branches were constantly banging against the window all night, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, a terrible experience. I do not recommend this place.

Close to many restaurants. Unit was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was nice. We were unable to get into the unit with the pin number we were given. Check in time was 3:00 and we didn't get in until after 4:00. Texted and called with no quick response. Finally a rep called us back and was combative with us. Gave us the pin number which we never received that number. Said they served breakfast, but there was no breakfast. They had orange juice and sandwiches?? Strange. Never saw any helpers.

The property is falsely advertised as a bed and breakfast. It even says “bed and breakfast” on the entrance, and the rate is higher than other properties in the neighborhood. But it’s a sham, there is no breakfast, there is no staff on site to clean your room or change the towels, and the owner is full of crap when you complain. Do yourself a favor and look for another place to stay. Don’t take my word for it- look at reviews going back to 2024 calling them out on this.

Prime location. Easy walk to vinoy park and reggae rise up Very small. Limited facilities.

Great location! We were met by the host who was friendly and helped carry our luggage up stairs. Excellent espresso from the make-it-yourself coffee machine in the common area. Comfortable front porch. Convenient parking. If you're looking for an old fashioned b&b (without the breakfast part), you'll be happy. No breakfast--seems odd for a B&B. Room is cramped as is bathroom. Decor is okay; freshly painted. The long corridor leading to the rooms has an old, musty smell. That's understandable because it's a very old house, but still ... Overall, I thought the price was very high for what we experienced.

We love the property. Room was clean and neat. Location cannot be better. Beautiful outdoor seating. We had a great time. All the rooms are in the second floor. And there is a stairs.

Superb location, 300 feet from Beach Drive with numerous restaurants and the city park by Tampa Bay, the Pier, museums and other attractions. The historic hotel has very attractive public areas and covered porch with superb seating. This is a very attractive historic hotel with few guest rooms but may not be for everyone. We loved the ambience.

This was a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We were attending a festival at Vinoy Park and the proximity was perfect. It's also close enough to all the downtown restaurants and bars that you can walk to all the local establishments. The room was perfect and communication with the host was seamless and pleasant. We will be staying here again!!

Loved the downtown location and atmosphere. About name it, and you're within walking distance. Service was Terrific, and the Room was 10-star.

The Vinoy House was beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms. It was even better than expected. The price was good . There were great restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again.

Mind-blowing! It’s right on the Vinoy park. Couldn’t have chosen a better place for the weekend. The room was tidy and fresh.

Just a little fyi, while my husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Vinoy House, all rooms are up a steep staircase that has about 8 stairs ( it is a beautiful historic house) no elevator available if needed for handicap accessibility. Everything you could possibly need is walking distance.

This property is on the best location in downtown St Petersburg. The host will do anything to make you feel at home. There is no breakfast, but there is plenty of places to eat in walking distance.
