Comfort Suites State College near Penn State

Room had a kitchenette and good sized refrigerator. Room was clean. Bed was a double not much space around it. All in all it was a good value at the NJ shore.

Nice, clean place. Smelled a wee bit musty and the cereal was stale. Fine for one night stay.

Staff is excellent and very helpful,great breakfast and showers, great showers is a must, very clean. Very nice pool, large spacious rooms ! Nothing, had a great short stay, will go back again !

The beds are old and broken. We literally sank in the beds and woke up with body aches. Breakfast, a nationwide problem not specific to this hotel, can use some creativity. It us the same old lame menu.

We visit the area often and always stay here. Best free breakfasts! Convenient to everything in and around State College.

The property was clean, well lit at night, close to the college campus, and very easy to get around town. I’m there was nothing I did not like about the property. Everything was great.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The property itself seemed well maintained. We did not go into the gym or pool. The room was large. My main concern was the vent in the bathroom. It was noticeably dirty and the air was always running. The beds were very high off the floor if you have small kids. The mattresses were pretty soft but if you are trying to have two people in one bed the edges may not hold up. The sofa bed is what you would expect, very thin and not comfortable. This is just how sofa beds are. It was nice to have the additional spot but be aware of the comfort level. The drapes don't extend all the way across, so the sun will come through without any type of blackout. The air con switches on and off all night for light sleepers. The front door on all rooms is loud when closing. Plenty of free parking. The location was great for our trip to the college. Overall it was a budget one night stay, so it was fine.

Close proximity to Penn State. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Found garbage in room…but to be fair it was partially hidden by furniture.

I was there for Ironman weekend, and the staff went above and beyond for the athletes and families. In particular, they had breakfast out at 4:00 AM on race day. That was a level of service that is unheard of these days. I would definitely stay there again.
