Loved the atmosphere of the hotel. It was very relaxing and the staff was extremely helpful!
-
Our room was so hot and steamy. Despite setting the thermostat at 66°, it stayed at 74°. I called and asked for a cot well in advance, again the day of arrival, again upon arrival. The cot never came and there was no follow up from staff.

I liked having a desk with good lighting and electrical outlets for recharging phone and electronic items.

Excellent place to stay. They do everything right. Highly recommend

This is my favorite hotel in State College and one of the most beautiful renovations for a local college hotel. The food is excellent, and the hotel service is always welcoming and efficient, the valet attendance are excellent, front desk team is terrific and very welcoming. Will is outstanding and helped me book my favorite room . The only drawback for business travelers that don’t have a lot of time— is that the breakfast is not easy to get to in the morning. The coffee shop is adorable. Unfortunately they never have enough staff or good training on how to keep lines flowing. They also just rearranged the coffee shop this past week and it looks absolutely terrible. It was so adorable and a comfort when you can’t make it to the sit down breakfast. The staff are always so kind but sometimes the line is 30 to 35 people deep just to get a cup of coffee! All the parents visiting order full meals and take their sweet time ordering complicated drinks. It’s so unbearable! I wish they would put out free coffee or offer a fast pick up line and get the staff help.

Gorgeous hotel, clean and bright. Staff were kind and helpful. Check in and check out was so easy! Parking simple! Stayed here for my son’s summer session move in and orientation it was simple to park at the hotel and walk around campus. Not need to drive and worry about parking. Very sad I didn’t book this hotel for family weekend in October because we had a great stay this time. Highly recommend will definitely be looking to stay here again!!

Perfect location to stay while visiting campus!
-
Hotel and staff were exceptional. Special recognition to Sam who helped us at Trippetts. He cured a case of hiccups, gave excellent drink suggestions, and shared some most excellent blue cheese stuffed olives.
-
Great all american hotel within Penn State campus. Friendly staff and good food at the bar!
-
Room and restaurants were great. The elevator had some issues and we felt a little out of place as most were alumni there.
-
First time staying there and want be my last. Staff was great , the place was clean and beautiful. There is covered parking available also. Oh yes breakfast was a treat. Very very good. Make sure you eat there

The Inn was absolutely beautiful. Very clean with several good food options: staff was attentive and the young men at the front door(Valet) were extremely polite and always opened the door for you. Highly recommend staying here, and the location is right on campus.

Gorgeous lobby and grounds, welcoming front desk and valet attendants, and beautiful, clean rooms. We had arrived a couple hours before check-in and asked to drop off our bags, and they did even better by offering to check us in early! Loved having multiple chilled water stations to fill our water bottles and plenty of comfy sitting areas so I could escape with my coffee and laptop early in the morning while the rest of the family slept in. Coffee/espresso machine in the room was top notch and plenty for me, but specialty coffees could also be purchased at the on-site cafe where pastries, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt and fruit were available on the go. Overnight parking does not allow for in/out privileges, but the inn is so close to everything, we never needed to move the car. Truly a wonderful place to stay!
-
Have stayed at the Inn before. We graduated from PSU in 1970. It is an icon in State college. All was great. Nothing- it was perfect.
-
Location was fantastic!
-
Wonderful experience at the Nittany Inn. Only recommendation is that the restaurant management consider extending hours when the bar area is at capacity for a sporting event. We visited during the World Cup and patrons were asked to leave- at established closing time (10pm) when the hotel and bar area were at full capacity and all were enjoying the camaraderie of an international event. Better planning and staffing for a sold out venue is needed.
-
Great location, we walked everywhere. The parking garage was close by in case you prefer to drive.
-
Overall look and feel of property and very nice rooms Tv and remote situation kind of clunky and frustrating. The 2 bars closing at 10pm seems a bit early
-
Wonderful property Staff members were not friendly

Great place to stay when visiting State College!
