HYATT house Sterling/Dulles Airport-North

The lesser ratings are not the fault of the hotel itself. They are due to pressures from people who don't want to see things running smoothly there so that the property can be considered for official use.

I always loved this Hyatt House, even though there was a lot of stress in the employees there. They were most courteous in good, old style professional fashion. That's where the idea came from that this should be the property near the airport that could be bought by the loyal government of this country via eminent domain to use as a "below the helicopter" level command post for healing the country, companies, and the people to redeem them back to the level where the promise of deliverance can best be accomplished and manifested in right fashion. Eminent domain allows the government to tell the entity who owns it that they need the property for official use and all that the government has to do is to pay a fair price for it. There is no discussion if the loyal, Constitutional government needs the property. The location is perfect for incoming people having to do with the official business of "the Program" to restart people's lives and careers, along with the companies. There is a potential helicopter pad area for use in transporting people to D.C. and the Spark hotel to add to the Hyatt House in the same fashion. These deliberations have caused this particular hotel to have problems with the kind of visitors renting rooms, the ability to fix what goes wrong (which used to be done expertly), the offering of food for guests (which was discontinued), the offering of a bar where guests and local residents could come and socialize (no longer provided), and no phone service.

Hotel was very clean and close to Dulles Airport. It had a mini kitchen which i didn't use because of my short stay. Staff was friendy. Free shuttle during regular hours. Would stay again.

Great, well maintained hotel! The room was spacious and clean. We had an early flight & the proximity to Dulles made it easier to get a little extra sleep. All the staff we encountered was friendly & helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful property, spacious room, delicious and robust breakfast, sweet and bubbly staff throughout our stay! We will definitely stay here again. I was truly blown away by how consistently friendly and chipper each and every staff member was that we encountered. They were even sweet enough to assign us a room facing the airport so that my 11 year-old aviation enthusiast could enjoy the views of the inbound and outbound planes. That was the highlight of his trip! Really nice as well to be able to walk right over to Sheetz for a variety of food/snacks during our stay. Pool was lovely and well kept as was the basketball court. Definitely a well taken care of hotel!
