Holiday Inn Express and Suites Stevens Point by IHG

Hotel room was filthy! Wet and muddy carpet, dirty tile. Disgusting. Had to lay down towels so the bed sheets didn’t get soaked and dirty.

Breakfast was very good. We were disappointed that the hot tub was closed. Carpets should be cleaned. The carpet in the elevator was all full of stains. Pool area was not swept. There were little pieces of Styrofoam everywhere. Bathroom was clean. The middle drawer of the 3-drawer unit, continually opened. We would shut it and a few minutes later it slowly reopened.

Everything was great. The room a specialist along with the bathroom and the shower was great. The coffee was great and they put out a nice breakfast every morning. The remote control for the TV only had a couple of buttons that worked and the only channels we could ever forget to watch were the local channels and those had really nothing to watch.

The hotel overall is nice, clean, modern. The breakfast is really generous and staff was keeping the area clean and stocked. The pool is kind of dark and dreary, but it served its purpose.

What a beautiful, clean & quiet location. We were greeted with a smile at 11pm, checking out at 10am again with a great & helpful staff. Be careful this place is located next to the convention center, but it's less then a block walk over. Breakfast was delicious with generous portions & selections. Kudos to the mgt staff. We will be back again...

The room was large and clean. The breakfast was very good especially the cinnamon rolls. I would definitely book again at this location. The shades on the windows were hard to work and the chain would get stuck easily.

Room was clean, however bathroom smelled like mildew. The rest of the property was great, staff was friendly. Only complaint, party in the breakfast area, very loud and kids running up and down the halls.

Staff enforcement of rules during night hours

Being on first floor on a soccer tournament weekend it was loud till 11:00 pm and we were woken up at 5:30 am by the noise of kitchen staff doing things for breakfast. Didn’t get much sleep.

Just great! There were plants outside the entrance and a bag of potting soil so I think they were going to be used. I was just surprised to see them there. The pots will look great when they are done. Looked like they just didn’t have the time?

The surrounding area is beautiful, quiet and safe. Inside the hotel it is clean and the staff are friendly. The beds were cleaned and super comfortable, and the temperature and smell was great. The breakfast offered had a nutritional value option. I’m pleased with our stay.

I wish I could think of something. Very unsanitary facility. Rooms smell moldy and stale. They have moisture controlling bags in their room which I’ve never seen before. Windows were dirty through the entire property. Would not recommend. Go next door to the other holiday inn.

My family and I loved the place! The room was clean and the staff were super kind. Breakfast was much better than I anticipated. I loved the quick cake pancake maker, the omelets so much more variety of food. Likely will stay whenever we are back in town!

Clean and quiet

Very clean hotel and rooms. Breakfast was good.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Property was clean and updated. We had a 2 room suite. There was not a door between the 2 rooms, so if one were up you had to becareful not to bother the other. The shower had great pressure. For some reason the shower curtain was 3 to 4 inches too long and covered a 1/4 of the tub bottom. Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows were very flat. I think all the hard surfaces were updated, but not the soft surfaces. Maybe that is still in the works.

Room was great. Staff was friendly. Awesome breakfast. Only complaint is there was a $50 charge when I checked in that I was not told about. When asked about at checkout, I was told there was a deposit but it would come off in a few days. This should have been disclosed when I checked in.
