Comfort Inn Stillwater near University

It was under reconstruction as it had been sold. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful , except for one young man who was almost rude. The breakfast was not good, coffee was cold. No waffle mix.

Good central location. Hotel keys repeatedly didn’t work. Had to get them fixed 6 times in my 3 night stay. The entire 4th floor hobby has trash on the ground and looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in months. The paint throughout the building including the room is patchy like a child went crazy with a paint sprayer. My room window view is of the drained indoor pool with a bit of moldy water left in it. In summary, this is not a 3 star hotel, period.

Our room had no light bulbs, no towels and no air conditioning

This location is not a safe location. The facility appeared to have sustained some water damage and several homeless were hanging in and around the lobby. My 10yr old felt unsafe and scared so we didn’t stay

Coffee lukewarm. Gravy cold. Eggs watery. I think I was the only guest in a 4-story hotel. I didn’t read the reviews but trusted the Wyndham name. Never Again.

Took a while for staff to come up front and check is in, then the door would not open so had to get the staff to come basically hit the door open and every time after that it would take us 10 minutes to get into the room because it kept having the same issue. Whole floor of hotel smelled like weed and mold. Dirty looking. Not worth the money have given this hotel multiple tries all gets worse and worse every time will never be back

I reserved a room for my adult children who were in from out of state because their grandfather was on his deathbed. He passed away during the second day of their stay and they didn’t get back to the room for the second night until midnight. At that time they found bedbugs in their bedding. Realizing they had already spent one night with the bedbugs they had to secure new clothes, and find another hotel in the middle of the night. It was just a disgusting situation and a terrible inconvenience. We’re still wondering if my newly widowed Mom has bedbugs in her house now given that the kids spent all day there after having unknowingly slept with them the night before. As I write this, the kids are at the laundromat washing all of their clothes. I called the hotel and they are willing to reimburse the cost of the two nights – but that’s not enough for me in this case. I’m also asking them to cover the cost of the hotel they had to secure at 1 AM this morning. They say they will have to talk to their boss about it tomorrow morning. Just a very disappointing experience, but I do appreciate that they’re working with us a little bit.

The lobby was cold, because the outside door was open all the time, but really nice. But we’re were given a room that was terrible!

Your cleaning staff could use some education on how to clean more thoroughly-not just surface clean

Bed was comfortable and shower had good water pressure No notification the pool didn’t work, staff didn’t explain anything such as where the room was or elevator. Sheets on bed had grease or stains on them, the bathroom had mold on ceiling, there was a car outside our window revving up the engine for over an hour, also felt like we was rushed the next morning by getting emails and texts wanting to know when we leave.

The room we weee assigned bathroom was filled with dirty water- the room itself looks like a party had gone on there It’s was dirty and unorganized

There was a cockroach on the bed when we arrived, but it was already midnight and we just killed it and went on with it. Didn't see anymore after that, but the room was wore out. Also, they shouldn't advertise that they have a pool - it's drained and there are no chairs sitting around it, so they are not planning on fixing it. this is the 3rd time this year alone that we have stayed at a hotel where the pool was out of commission without knowing it. There must be a way that Hotels.com can obtain this info for their patrons prior to booking, or even after - giving them a chance to change their booking. It's very frustrating.

Refrigerator did not work (at all). TV would not make connection, couldn't watch. Trash was never emptied in our room or in hallway by elevator. Our family members room door would not lock, they had no TV remote, and bathroom sink would not drain. Hallway consistently smelled of smoke in a no smoking motel.
