La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stillwater-University Area

Not as many choices as expected but was adequate. The place just didn't appear clean. Hall carpet needed shampooing. Found mustache hairs on the bathroom sink.

we booked what was called the "presidential suite" which appeared to just be the size of 2 rooms and included a jacuzzi tub in the main living area. The room, itself, appeared clean although very "tired". The bed was comfortable. The room was handicap accessible with all the assist bars in the bathtub and next to toilet. 2 windows - neither with a view of anything. King size bed was far from the way-too-small TV. Entering into the lobby from the outside, you notice an odor of an older hotel - almost smelling like an old folks home. Maintenance (paint) seemed to be lacking. Coffee, however, was always available in the lobby and they have a breakfast including self-serve waffle maker, some pastries, etc. For the price I paid for the room ($700+ for 2 nights) it was a disappointment. La Quinta is a Wyndham property and I would have expected periodic reviews to ensure it lives up to the standards and the minimum would be a lobby that immediately makes one feel what the property is all about. This felt like a very low budget hotel but I didn't pay a low-budget price...

The room was clean. There were some broken tiles on the flooring in front of third floor elevator door. The pool/hot tub wasn’t working. Breakfast was good though

Great shower pressure, but the tub creaked like it was going to fall through to the next floor. Staff was kind and helpful.

Location Grounds was not mowed

We booked at the La Quinta in Stillwater Oklahoma because they were pet friendly and on the website it stated pets stay free. At check in I was forced to sign a paper saying that there was a $25 per night charge for my pet. When I showed her test they advertised pets stay free she stated that it wasn’t her fault they haven’t updated the website. I stated that this was a clear case of false advertising and was illegal she laughed. Will never stay here again.

Room was big and very clean the bed was comfy The shower had really hot water and it was a nice quiet stay On the other hand the pool was closed the washer and dryer on 3rd floor was also out of order and im guessing by the way it looked whoever takes care of the lawn care must have been off work for the summer. Staff was very nice

The quiet area, and the night helpful shift. The morning shift is beyond the horrible.
