Overall the cleanliness was very good, the rooms were clean and welcoming. A few things beginning to show age and wear.

the grounds looks like no one cares. it does not reflect somewhere that I will return. I understand that we are having very hot temps but the plants are dead and the flower beds look awful. The grass right at the curb is at least 6ft. tall. If it were my business I would care for/maintain at least 6-8 beyond the curb( even if it isn't my property) just for safety and appearance. Our room had a weird smell and the A/C didn't cool the room well so we had to go buy a fan.

Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and well maintained.

Room didn't get cool until night. The AC in the room clearly doesn't work. There was a stale smell in the room. Just there to get my daughter into her dorm. Not very pls. Want be back and will never use the hotel again.

I calmly reported the issue to Assistant General Manager Clint Castoe and asked the hotel to take responsibility or at least document what happened. Instead, he immediately blamed me. He claimed that “loss” and “damage” were the same under the hotel’s policy, even though the written language referred to loss of personal valuables. He also told me I had not used common sense by plugging in my PS5 and said I had no right to move furniture in the room. When I calmly asked him to show me where the hotel’s written policy said guests could not move furniture, he became visibly angry, turned red, and told me I could go back to my room, check out immediately, or he would call the police. I remained calm the entire time. I did not threaten anyone, raise my voice, or cause a disturbance. I was simply asking management to address damage that occurred after housekeeping moved furniture in my room. What upset me most was not only the damaged PS5, but the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. Rather than investigate the situation, complete an incident report, or speak respectfully, managem

Nice property, friendly staff, clean rooms. Only complaint was the pool was closed.

I recently came to Oklahoma to attend a funeral in Pawnee. We booked 2 rooms at La Quinta and our experience was excellent. This hotel is surrounded by trees and it was a very peaceful, quiet setting. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant, nice morning breakfast options. Certainly I recommend this facility.

Not again. No thanks!
-
First room, the AC was broken. 2nd room smelled musty and there were carpet tacks in the entryway.

Pool was closed and needed some upkeep. Changed policy on pets stay free when advertised as free.

However, we stayed there again this year, and unfortunately it seems like it’s just going downhill. Exterior needs some TLC, the rooms don’t seem near as clean as they used to…lots of deterioration from years past. And breakfast has become disappointing. They do have warm options (bacon/sausage, eggs[powdered], biscuits and gravy, and waffles/pancakes). But the muffins/cereal choices we were used to seeing are gone, and the fruit looked bad all three days we were there. We most likely will be choosing a different hotel next time we’re in town.

Looked like ownership abandoned the project.

The grounds were not kept up. My son said it looked like a Walking Dead Hotel. Pool was not working. Cracked tiles with a yellow cone over them. Room fridge was warm.

Great stay

The value was good, the rooms were clean and spacious and comfy, anyone complaining about there being a sort of damp smell - it’s the Midwest. It’s muggy. It comes with the territory. I would happily stay here again. I did have a mishap at check in where my Booking was cancelled without my knowledge and marked as a no show but Expedia corrected the issue and refunded me in the end. A nice pet friendly place to stay. Thanks yall xx
