La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Stockton

Check in was quick, our associate was super friendly! Parking was easy and accessible for our larger vehicle. Room was big and very accommodating. Our room was secluded, so there was less traffic, and it was very quiet. My only complaint (really isn't one, more of a request) is that we weren't able to leave the dining area with our breakfast from the buffet. I do understand the reasoning being so its not misused or abused. We have small, sometimes rowdy, children who would benefit better in the privacy of our own room, and having that option would've been pleasant. Our check out with the virual associate was quick and easy! We'll be staying again in the future for sure!!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. However, the exterior of the property could use some additional upkeep. Also, the night receptionist was not very friendly, which made the check-in experience less welcoming. Overall, I had a good stay, and Patty’s outstanding customer service made a positive impression.

Seems like the property was being used as public housing and we should have been informed about it at time of reservation

The room was ok clean but not spectacular, the property was run down and the staff were rude.

Staff were nice and the room was clean, but rundown. The property itself was very sketchy and we felt uncomfortable staying at this location.

Some homeless in the area. They even joined us for breakfast this morning. Lucky we had a room opposite fo the freeway.

I had a very nice, comfortable one-night stay at La Quinta Inn. The room and bathroom were spotless, and there were plenty of clean towels. The body wash bottle was empty, so I just used shampoo instead no big deal for one night. It was also nice that free breakfast was included, even though I didn't end up eating. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick stay!

the shower was a little bit hard with no handrail no I didn't ask for a handicap room but my mother's 90 years old and can't lift her leg up that high to get over the tub other than that the room was perfect.. highly recommended

Property is somewhat dated and a bit hard to locate in the area where it is located. Jut kind of hidden. There was a good half inch gap on the side of the door. Bathroom was dated and appeared to have mouse droppings behind the door. It was very conviently located to restaurants. We traveled with our small dog and it was well situated with pet areas.

- The room was clean - Breakfast was Okay - Staff was attentive to our complaints. Low Points - The overall condition of the property was "shabby" - Proximity to the freeway and large restaurants made it very noisey - Drunken revalers and "drug deals" produced a LOT of noise making a good night sleep Very difficult. - We had to complain to the desk each night until someone did anything about the noise outside our rooms. - Vagrents and "freinds" of guests made for a sometimes 'threatening' atmosphere. - There were no guards or patrol to proactively keep things quiet and orderly. - It was 96 degrees and the pool was a wreck so we could no swim. I would NOT recommend this motel.

Not having an attendant to help you out with your check in or check out

The bathroom was especially unpleasant. The shower had visible stains, and both the bathroom and shower appeared unclean and poorly maintained. It did not feel sanitary. One of the biggest concerns was the room door. It did not close or lock properly and had a large gap between the door and the frame where you could actually see light coming through. This made us feel very unsafe, as it didn’t seem like the room was secure. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the room were unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to its cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety.

Hotel needs to be renovated in some areas. The carpets in the stair area looked dirty. Our room was pretty clean and AC worked great. Keep an eye out if you use the vending machines by the lobby as the price you pay is not what the machine says. Got one soda can where price marked price read $1.50 and my card was charged $6. I was at the front desk and was told they're was nothing they can do as the machine comes from a vendor. He was going to notify the owner and I hope they can do something about it as I can that a rip off. Pretty quiet and affordable hotel.

The hotel was okay, the blankets were so thing it was like using a sheet. The ice maker was broken and you could hear every single noise in the place inside and out. The surrounding area is horrible and unsafe. The hotel seems to be more for one night stays.

However, the staff were very cordial and helpful! I was told that by checkout personnel that I would receive my receipt for my stay from Expedia, the third party institution, to this day I haven’t received a receipt from either company!

I like the attention and clean room

The rooms were very nice, had some spots that were not thoroughly cleaned but overall it wasn’t anything that was too much to fuss about. The rooms had a very pleasant a smell, and the beds were very comfortable.
