Residence Inn By Marriott Stockton

Basic room, lots of space, but found ants in the bed and bathroom, which was odd being on the 3rd floor. I let the front desk know about the ants and they did not say much about it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was our second time staying here. Great for our family of 6 in the 2-bedroom suite. 2 separate bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and separate living room and kitchenette. You do however have to ask for your room to get cleaned or they won’t do it. We learned from our last stay and they cleaned it no problem.

Premises was clean but needs a little sprucing up. (e.g. dry rot on outdoor window sill, molding around elevator we used needs paint touch up, on another elevator the floor numbers could barely be read). Thermostat in our room wasn’t working well. Had someone reset it twice in two days and on the third it needed it again (room 207). Breakfast was so-so. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Aside from more room space, I think we would prefer to stay at the Courtyard next time.

The air-conditioning was out in their 24 hour Gym. It is summer (98 degrees fahrenheit outside) and 81 degrees in the gym at 1 am (with a 19" bix fan). Workout was warm but do able.

Dede & Nam were great, during Chech-In, relocating our room to the 1st floor for our elderly dog. The suite was great for my daughter, the dog, & I. The air-conditioning was out in their 24 hour Gym.
