Aloft by Marriott Syracuse Inner Harbor

Wonderful stay and will be returning for next 4 years! The staff and the hotel were amazing! K at front desk was the most professional and accomodating! My daughter is a freshman at Syracuse University and we enjoyed the hotel as a Sanctuary! Close to everything. Truly enjoyable! Thank you.

The lady at the front desk at check in and check out was awesome. She went above and beyond! Wish I caught her name. But all the employees were nice as well

The selection of coffee and snacks was great! Rooms were very big and comfortable. The shower was awesome! Close to Dolphin Mall. No restaurant on site.

The location was convenient. Pleasant open spaces and beautiful sunset over the inner harbor. Breakfast was a disaster. The coffee in the lounge was not fresh and the butter was frozen.

the hotel was exactly what we needed for one night

The room itself smelled of urine. I almost asked to switch rooms but was too tired after driving 5 hours to get there. The breakfast was terrible. The muffin I purchased was so old that it was slimy/wet, as if it had been sitting there for many days. Had to throw it away. Fruit was old - also threw this away. I would not return to this hotel.

Great Work!

The location was perfect, right on the Erie Canal way. Staff let us bring out bicycles into our room. Laundry room was great! And just a mile walking to the Dinosaur BBQ was a big bonus.

Parking was terrible for seniors and the hotel looks to be 20% occupied and still they gave me a room that was at the other end of hotel after getting of elevator

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Check-in/check-out was easy. Nice location with harbor views. Would definitely stay here again!

Check in rep “Ty” was friendly and welcoming. Space is clean, bright. Room is comfortable and well designed.

The bad: The "Aloft" appeared to me to be the lowest end Marriott that charges a high end rate. The whole setup is confusing from check-in to the horrible breakfast food that is nothing more than $8 frozen and nuked breakfast sandwiches, $4 stale cookies and $4 frozen muffins which you order from the check in desk and pickup at a window when they scream your order across the dirty lobby. We were overcharged for this so called food as well. I need to rethink booking Marriott.
