We enjoyed our stay at the Aloft in Syracuse. I'll start with the staff, 10/5 stars! We arrived right around 4 for checkin and the staff member at the front desk was super nice and helpful, we really felt welcomed. We had a room on the first floor, it was easy to get to and no issues with the room key. the rooms are unique, when you walk in it's the bathroom sink/closer area immediately, and further to the right is the toilet and shower behind a pocket door. walking straight through there's an opening from the closet/bathroom area to the bedroom area. we had two beds. there was a desk area along the wall with a window in front of each bed and a cushioned area between the desks with a tv over it. my kids watched youtube the whole time from the youtube app on the tv. we were in town for banana ball and this place was super close to the stadium. less than 10 minutes coming and going (plus some extra parking lot traffic getting out of the stadium) We felt safe while on the property. we played billiards in the lobby and used the pool. the pool wasn't huge but we had it to ourselves which was nice. the water was warm, no complaints from the children. complementary coffee in the lobby. the paid breakfasts were delicious and there was an option that worked for each of us. adults got the OG sandwich. very tasty. ordering breakfast, getting the billiards supplies, and checking out the staff was again amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Not a good area, shooting 3 blocks away. Dog crying in the stairwell right next to us in the middle of the night. Smelled like weed, that was the smallest concern. Fruit flys in the room. Our view was the lot across the street with the shot spotter cameras. Honestly, I don’t know how it has over 4 stars and how I paid almost $400. It wasn’t worth even $200 lol. Never, ever ever ever again. Also, who wants their refrigerator under their sink next to the toilet? 10/10 do NOT recommend

Excellent no complaints at all

When you plan your entire trip to use the pool and pay a premium price of 250 plus a notification ahead of time that the pool is closed is a small request. We also had ants in our room #304

Very basic, for the price I expected more. Other hotel chains offer more amenities, such as breakfast for less money. Bathroom was nice but room was very plain a chair or couch instead of a wooden bench would have been nice.

the location was great, a walk to the destiny mall, a walk to pastabillities, excellent rooms and great, personable staff

Wonderful stay and will be returning for next 4 years! The staff and the hotel were amazing! K at front desk was the most professional and accomodating! My daughter is a freshman at Syracuse University and we enjoyed the hotel as a Sanctuary! Close to everything. Truly enjoyable! Thank you.

The lady at the front desk at check in and check out was awesome. She went above and beyond! Wish I caught her name. But all the employees were nice as well
