Best Western Syracuse Downtown Hotel and Suites

Convenient for our visit and clean room. Not really worth for the price but was not a bad deal during our visit to the area.

Everything Noise from the street

The suite space was clean and nice. The hotel is secure.

Friendly check-in. Great "fun" location. I'm a "preservationist" so the hotel is a classic I'd recommend. My only negative was that being solo (and it was explained somewhere), the room was "European-style" meaning smaller. But loved the vibes of the classic building. Room could have been a little bigger. The shower is neat with all of the sprays BUT trying to figure how to turn on the water took a little figuring out.

The shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower didn't work, which was rather inconvenient to find out when I was already in the shower. The usb ports in the desk didn't work, so I couldn't charge my phone. I should have remembered a charging block, but it would be nice if features in the room worked. It is an old building, which has its charms, but the uneven floor under the carpeting could be an issue for anyone less stable on their feet.

Parking was very limited. Saw 2 additional charges made and I know the room was in same condition as we received it. $250 room turned into over $350 room.

Outrageous for what we got.

Parking Location

It was a decent hotel! Move and close to town and clean and lots of room - the room we got had a little living room - very nice You can’t buy beer/wine- and the liquor store is not a short walk. would be a good add.

The location of the hotel was amazing! The staff who checked us in were super friendly and helpful. However the staff who checked us out didnt even speak so it made the check out very awkward

Comfortable bed, quiet on the 11th floor. I also thought the staff were so accommodating. It was a little tired and could have done with some updating. This is just a minor issue though.

I didn’t like the limited onsite parking. The first night that I had to use street parking my vehicle was side swiped and the driver side mirror was broken.

Lobby was nice and staff was very communicative and kind Our bathroom mirror was dirty and there wasn’t much lighting throughout the room, parking situation was very slim and somewhat expensive for the price we had already paid for the room.

The location was perfect and front desk staff was help and nice. The fan didn't work in the room and it was so hot, I couldn't sleep. There was no light switch's and there was a random fingernail in our room, not ours.

Location was great close to everything walking distance. Breakfast was descent Hotel guests had to pay to park behind the hotel with very limited spots available. Additional parking was also available that was close.
