Easy parking. Walk to SU. Nicely renovated. Staff were super helpful and accommodating. After I checked-in at night, I asked the staff at the bar if I can put my mini ice pack in the freezer. She was very helpful and went extra miles to take my mini ice pack to the basement fridge. BTW. They have mini fridge in the room. In the morning, another lady at the front desk gladly and swiftly retrieved my mini freezer pack from downstairs upon my check-out. Had a nice night sleep after a hot shower.

This was our second time staying here. Walking distance to Syracuse University.

Beautiful place and the staff were incredible! It was sad that we are charged for everything-no coffee inside the rooms and no water. But the staff at the desk were wonderful!

We had a great stay at the Hotel Skylar. The place was clean and comfy. The staff, especially the desk clerk, Anzinetta and Matthew, were extremely pleasant and helpful. Location was great and easy in and out.

New purpose for historic building. Comfortable and spacious room. Parking. There were stairs on the floor and we weren’t informed about them before dragging our luggage up to our room. My husband uses a cane and I am recovering from knee replacement. While they would have changed our room, we were already up there, tired, and didn’t want the hassle. A second issue was there were several menu shortages by the end of the weekend. Disappointing especially for a breakfast we had to pay for.

Did not appreciate sirens for nearby hospitals, but understood location.

Clean and comfy room with nice bathroom. Rooms have a fridge but no coffee maker, but the free coffee area is the best I've ever seen--hot coffee and a little fridge with a variety of milk and non-dairy milk choices. First time I've ever seen oat milk at a hotel coffee station! Parking is free and easy--your key opens the gate to the hotel lot. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to campus and they allowed me to park before check in. Very courteous staff.

Really friendly staff! Good vibes. Well laid out rooms, new plumbing. Nice breakfast. And great location, two blocks from Upstate Hospital, where my spouse was having a procedure done.

The two front deck ladies were super friendly, especially the night shift young lady.

The hotel is nice and centrally located to the University. One issue was shower took a bit to get the hot water. The room also allowed too much light in the evening and would be better with blackout curtains. Not sure if I’d stay here again.

The price was a bit high but still manageable. N/A

Great location!

Great and close location to Syracuse University. Creaky floors and doors slamming at 4:30am were not the best way to wake up. It definitely needs remodeling but it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful! Musts in the area Collegetown bagels, Haraz, Varsity, and Pastabilities.
