Clarion Pointe Downtown

I’m not sure why this property is marketed by Hotels.com as VIP exclusive only available to silver and above members. Breakfast options were limited and horrible, building seems “updated” but done cheaply. The room absolutely stunk like urine and bleach and the windows were left open on my arrival to try to air it out. Wifi did not work most of the time. $300 hold on credit card for a 2 night stay - more than any of the Marriott or Hyatt properties that I’ve stayed at in the past month. Also in not a great neighbourhood, not great for walking to restaurants downtown. The VIP gift? A $5 bottle of room temperature white wine. When I checked out, I had to provide the spelling of my name and asked how many nights I had stayed there - wouldn’t they have that information on file? I do not recommend this property.

My stay here was very comfortable, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was cleaned to its best ability I always reclean anytime I stay at a hotel anyway. Over all experience was great I will be stay again if I'm in the area they also have charging sta6fir your electric cars.

Decent hotel if you’re looking to have a quick stay. Small room but got the job done, breakfast was nice. Front staff are friendly.

Very nice! Rooms looked to be recently renovated! Front desk was extremely nice! Fast easy check in and out! Nice little breakfast!

Nothing

I thought the room have been cleaned better, I wet a cloth and wiped down the furniture myself, some sticky areas. Staff were great very helpful, location is superb, a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a bit plain, with hardly any fruit available, just some old apples. I've had worse but I am a working man and do not have time for a liesurely breakfast, some other option would be good.

it was close to where I was working at SU. That's about it. never could get the wifi to work at all. the toasters don't toast bagels--get new ones. I tried three times in a row to toast a bagel and gave up. Your cheap plastic silverware won't even spread cream cheese. And, there were no towels in my room but I didn't realize it until the first morning. Terrible neighborhood, and I'm from Chicago... And I paid for breakfast like an idiot--cold eggs and sausage. I have seen much better places for a lot less $$$.

Belle chambre propre. Mais trop humide, même le plancher de la samme de bain etait mouillé. Jamais été capable d'ouvrir la télévision malgré des inscriptions écrites. Petit déjeuner décevant... Ok pour une fois mais je n'y retournenerai pas

The manager was kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The outside of the building looked rundown. The water for the shower was lukewarm. Our key cards didn't work and the manager had to break the lock on the door so we could get in our room when we returned after being out all day.
