Best Western Plus Tacoma Hotel

Bring your own pillows. And no, they don't have any spare pillows you can ask for.

Only thing is my husband got a spider bite from our one night sleeping there, which made me not able to give it a full 5 stars

Disappointing

We have stayed here a few times and love this hotel! It is always so clean and smells so good! The staff is so friendly and we have referred a few people here now that have stayed with us and agree this is a wonderful location.

Very clean room, staff was very nice and the breakfast was great!

The front desk person upon arrival was very kind and helpful. The room was ok. There was hair on one of the towels but not a big deal. The beds were comfy enough. The slamming doors in the hallway was a little annoying. We requested top floor but you could assume anything below that would be a little noisy with foot traffic. The work out room was deplorable. There were no towels, no cleaning supplies, the Peloton bike was useless as it needed to get overdue maintenance by Peloton, it would not work. The worst and UNSAFE part was that the lights kept turning off every 15 minutes. When you are running on the tread at night, that is incredibly not ok. When bringing it up to a different front desk person, they were incredibly dismissive, would not actually hear what I was saying but rushing me to just get rid of me. He kept stating that the lights should turn off at 10 and even when showing him my time stamped workouts from before 10pm, he kept insisting they should be on before that time. Regardless, wasn’t a great experience at all and would not stay again.

Only two minor complaints: first, our in room coffee machine didn't work either morning, even after it had been fixed/replaced. However, our room was just off the lobby where there was a great coffee machine available 24/7. The second concern was that he room was very dark, even with the lights all turned on. That being said, the inconveniences were minor and I would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was amazing. Place was clean and met our needs!

Exceptional

Love the front desk staff. Very accommodating. Love the coffee/tea/water station. Great hot drink machine. We had Rm. 104, 2 years in a row. The torn dirty roll shade was still torn and dirty almost 1 year to the day. There was a big black stain on the carpet in the approach to the bed. Definitely kept my shoes on. On another note, the beds are very comfortable.
