Hampton Inn & Suites Tacoma

The beds were comfortable, The lady that checked us out was super helpful and showed compassion with our issue. After checking in and opened the door our room smelled so bad of strong bleach and wet dog like they mopped part of the room with an old nasty mop head that had not been changed in a really long time. It smelled up the room and never went away. The bedding was also over powered by a bleach smell. When I receive a text message from the front desk welcoming my stay and to text them if there is anything I need, I text her back letting her know the issue about the smell and that the closet door wouldn't stay shut. She just said sorry and that she would let maintenance know and she didn't offer any accommodations or see if we wanted to even switch rooms. The breakfast looked horrible and so we went out to eat instead. This is one of the worst Hamptons we have ever stayed in.

Arrived at hotel late & there wasn't parking for my Uhaul, the employee at the front desk for check in was really helpful & allowed me to park in an area reserved for security (I don't remember her name, sorry!) Parking fenced in & secure. Everything was clean & updated. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Only thing I didn't love was the pillows, they were to soft, but that's just a personal preference.

Hot tub was great. Full breakfast with eggs, meat and waffles, etc. was great!

Comfy stay. The bathroom sink though was clogged the entire time. Other than that it was good.

Felt very safe at the hotel. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The day we had the room cleaned bed was not made properly. Covers were just messily put on. Did not receive more coffee, although we obviously used all they gave prior. There was mold above bathroom door. There were ants in juice area at breakfast.

Wonderful helpful staff. Great pool and hot tub for kids and parents. Beds are comfy and kids had a great sleep. Breakfast was wonderful!

Checkin was easy, bed was made up and clean sheets. The lights work, ice maker down the hall works. They woman at checkin was very friendly, probably the nicest thing I can say. The couch is filthy and had a 1.5 ft cut in it. The desk chair also filthy and cocked to the right slanted and I Was afraid that it would collapse . The conditioner on the shower wall was empty. The toilet seat had to be held or it would fall down. Other than the bed being made with clean sheets, is the only redeeming value.
