Emerald Queen Hotel and Casino - Tacoma

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of space on our room. Felt the hot tub could have been warmer (personal preference) and wish they had restaurants available that you did not have to go through the casino.

The Wi-Fi did not work on the eighth floor. You cannot use your phone to mirror the TV so you cannot watch any apps. It is not a smart TV type thing. Front desk was incompetent and not very nice.

The property is close to I-5 which is very convenient, and it was still quiet enough to be able to sleep. There's plenty of parking, security at the entrance. Area was well maintained, room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly, beds were comfortable. What I did not like was that the bed had a slight smell of smoke, we had a non smoking room. Otherwise experience was great and I would book again

Great room for the price. The gym is kinda small. We enjoyed the privacy. The view was not impressive. Friendly staff!

The room was great, gym functional, pool/spa small (didn’t use it). There’s no gift shop in the lobby, you have to go hunting for it in the Casino. I collect shot glasses, there weren’t any… weird. The other merchandise was lacking. Clothing choices, minimal. Casino was awesome, a little confusing at first, but once you get the lay of the land, easy to get around. After 4 days of random use of the machines, I cashed my tickets out at $1300, I lost about $200, mostly because I stayed at 2 machines too long. I will stay there agsin.

The casino was great! The staff was friendly and helpful! The hotel stay was terrible! We checked into our room and the toilet wasn’t working. There was no water even in it! We had to pack all our stuff back up after unpacking everything. We got into another room and when I went to take a shower there was no conditioner and the shower was dirty and had hair stuck to the wall. The tissue paper was empty and the coffee machine wasn’t working. I would hope they would check all these things before they had someone in the room. Stocking and cleaning should have been done! We asked if there was anything that could be done like a discount, free buffet or anything and the front desk associate said there was nothing they will do! So terrible customer service and just not a good stay for our first time there!
