Hotel Murano

I love this place. But I keep getting rooms next to the elevator. Very loud. Also, the bartender is never behind the bar. I always get two drink vouchers and I can never use them.

Very unique a little more expensive than I would like but that is this day and age. Could have used more amenities like food options

Super clean room and an enjoyable experience!

Beds were so comfortable and wonderful veiw of Tacoma. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Shady neighborhood behind it

It’s an older hotel. The shower was not great and the handle was either jammed or kept rotating around. It said breakfast was included but it wasn’t.

Fantastic restaurant

Lovely hotel with lots of interesting art. Clean room with amazing views of the city. Excellent food in the Bite restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location for exploring Tacoma, appreciated the onsite bar and restaurant, and quiet.

it was a nice and pleasant stay! the only issue was our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain properly, but we only stayed one night and didn’t bother bringing it up!

The place was beautiful. Would come back.

I believe the time has come to make improvements to the entry areas and rooms.

The sink smelt so bad. They have a coffee pot in the room but no water to use except from the smelly sink?? Or you can pay $6 for water at the front desk. WiFi not usable. Ended up using my hotspot for work. Low water pressure. They don’t tell you until you arrive that it’s $30 a day for parking. We paid for parking and then the next morning had a ticket for $60 so apparently even when you pay they don’t keep track of it? Location is nice a few close cafes, and walkable distance to the farmers market, beds were comfortable honestly and slept good but for the price I would have expected better.

The negatives come more in relation to the room. We had an accessible room with a roll-in shower (apparently, they only have one in the whole hotel, so we had to wait for it to be ready when we checked in, but the staff was very apologetic about this and gave us free beverages while we waited so that wasn't a major inconvenience). But, this room's bathroom had MUCH to be desired for making it useful for guests. First of all, the shower head in the bathroom wouldn't stay put on the device it is located on, and ended up falling multiple times during showers trying to get it adjusted. It was nice that a non-slip matt was provided though. The biggest complaints are about how low the toilet is (definitely not higher like needed for people with mobility issues getting up and down), and the sink - why on earth there would be no counter area around it or next to it for putting things like toiletry kits, toothbrushes and water cups is beyond us!!! We've stayed in many accessible rooms, and never has there been no surface to put anything on. We ended up having to bring a chair in from the desk so we had somewhere to put things. It wouldn't be difficult to purchase a small table to put things on next to the sink. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time with our family!

Could've been cleaner. Phone in the room didn't work. Restaurant wasn't answering phone to order food. Not sure I'd stay again

Great rooms. Nice hotel. Bartender was amazing but I felt bad he was by himself making drinks and going upstairs to the restaurant to get meal orders

You could spend the entire day exploring the artwork in this hotel. It’s in the perfect location to make other places within walking distance. It’s super clean and restaurant located inside the hotel is awesome.

Also, the carpeting on the stairway leading to the check in desk was quite threadbare and buckling. Staff was very friendly, and check in and out was quite smooth. The check in desk was right across from a noisy bar, so can be hard to hear when checking in. Clean rooms, friendly staff and overall pleasant stay though.
