Is on a timer which is absolutely pointless if you need it for medication or to keep milk cold for a child. I’ve actually never seen a mini fridge do this and essentially ruin anything you put in the fridge within hours… terrible decision to put these in the rooms as they are worthless to guests

Staff is icy and unwelcoming. The bartender Cherise was castigating her coworkers the whole time we sat at the bar, it was so uncomfortable and unprofessional to witness. Light switch and coffee machine in room were jammed. The pool is nice, but everyone’s trash and used towels are left and not cleaned up. Pool towels aren’t refreshed so you have to bring one down from your room. We were told no vouchers for breakfast and to use the M Club. M Club breakfast was empty, so we were told by waitstaff we were “too slow”. Then we’re given the original breakfast vouchers, told we couldn’t use the buffet, but breakfast in resturaunt was suspended. The manager never came out when concierge checked with her to help facilitate any of the confusion or issues. The breakfast option is an additional charge when booking through Expedia, but hotel staff will say “you didn’t actually pay for it.” Lack of acknowledgment, hospitality or apologies is extremely discouraging.

A lot of unexpected fees, very expensive dining amenities and pricey daily parking. Due to an event there was a lot of trash around, dirty glasses and drunk people wandering the property. The Do not disturb was displayed on the door but upon returning to our room we saw that it had been entered and cleaned in disregard to our preference.

Easy check in, large room, all the amenities you need, good food and great view

The staff were all very nice. The people in the restaurant were fast and friendly. The room was clean and pretty quiet. We used the gym and it was huge and very well maintained and had a lot of equipment. Some of the public places ( bathrooms and hallways) could use a little TLC but other than that we had a great stay.

We’ve been staying at different hotels in Tacoma during visits with our daughter. The Marriott Tacoma Downtown is our new favorite. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay—and the gym is great.

The people next door partied all night and the front desk clerk didn’t register my car resulting in a parking ticket

Parking was convenient and quick. The restaurant was great!

My stay was great overall. Location to my event was perfect being only a couple of blocks away.

it was great staying here, me and my husband LOVED the food!! definitely worth booking again, only downside was that the pool was closed for maintenance:( but other than that i recommend staying here if you’re in the area!💙

The property was very clean and was very impressed with how nice the staff was. You had to pay for breakfast-it is not free. No free coffee bar either. They were somewhat stingy on the towels. The first day I had wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels. The next day they only refilled the bath towels. Never received wash cloths again. They made the beds but did not sweep. My biggest complaint is that the pool and hot tub were closed due to maintenance during my 3 day stay. So I was extremely bummed even when they wouldn’t offer a small refund. They also double charged me for my stay. I paid back in March on Expedia and they charged my card when I got there. However the lady was able to give me a refund on the second charge once I brought it to her attention. I stayed here for the convenience of the convention center, but I might look around at other options next time.

The pool was empty and was the whole reason we booked. No notice of this amenity being off line was frustrating.

The shower and shower head were very nice. Air conditioning was great. Front desk staff were very friendly.
