Marriott Tacoma Downtown

Location was great. Under 10 minutes to Tacoma Dome. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Room was not clean, even the amenities pamphlet was sticky and we couldn’t look at it. Hot tub jets didn’t work, and the water was cold. There was trash and garbage outside of the elevators and inside of them. The woman who checked us in didn’t even tell us where the elevator was to get to our room, and which floor we were on, just handed us our room keys. She seemed annoyed that I asked how to access the elevator and our room. You can hear everything in the hallway, it was extremely noisy because there was a themed party with a DJ outside. The only positive thing was the room view and the property location. Would not stay here again.

I booked through Expedia, 2 queens. When we checked in and went to the room it was a king. They were out of queen rooms but they gave a roll away and comped breakfast.

Took my grandchildren so they could swim in the outdoor pool and hot tub and exercise room, great food, love the night time bartender.

It looked very nice and the view was amazing

Room was not very clean. There were hand/finger prints all over the bathroom door and water rings from cups and a spill that wasn't wiped up. Also, there was scotch tape on the wall near windows.

Overall great room. The mattress wasn’t secured so lounging against the headboard wasn’t an option as the mattress kept sliding forward. That was annoying.

We loved our stay. Clean rooms and amenities. Friendly staff, easy check-in and convenient parking. Will definitely book here again!

We were in town for a quick trip to go to a wedding. The staff was able to get us an early check in so we could iron our clothes and get ready. The room on the 15th floor was roomy, comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The downstairs restaurant was convenient for a quick bite before the drive to Enumclaw. I wished we had an extra day to check out the many nearby museums.

We like because this hotel is all inclusive, so we want a late night meal, snack, or cocktail to relax from our stressful day it makes a difference. The rooms and the hotel are absolutely immaculately clean in every aspect. The entire staff from check in, room service, servers, housekeepers, and security guards will do anything within reason to make your stay pleasant. It matters, because we visit Tacoma not always to take care of stressful business matters, and to know where we are staying is top notch! When ever we go to Tacoma we will always stay here.

Is on a timer which is absolutely pointless if you need it for medication or to keep milk cold for a child. I’ve actually never seen a mini fridge do this and essentially ruin anything you put in the fridge within hours… terrible decision to put these in the rooms as they are worthless to guests
