Residence Inn Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol

One elevator was broken and we had a line of people waiting for one elevator. It took 25 minutes to get up to my room at 11pm at night. When I finally got to my room I just wanted to shower and watch tv. The shower was disgusting (hair and dirt on the tub and corners of the bathroom floor and a slimy film around the edge of the tub) and the tv would not work! It was so late I didn’t want to have maintenance or housekeeping come, especially since I knew it would take them forever to get up using the elevator! Then all night an intermittent vibration in the walls kept me up! Very disappointing, especially for how much the room was!!!

Close to everything and they shuttle from the airport and to the universities

Good breakfast options and better than most who include breakfast, but I would have liked to see more healthy protein and low sugar options.

The staff in particularly the breakfast staff were very friendly and customer oriented. Location is fantastic. The only thing that did surprise us is a $35 a day parking fee…. We probably would not have stayed there if we had known that however would not hesitate to stay there again otherwise. Front Desk was awesome as well. Explained the parking we could have chose to park in the neighborhood area, but was not familiar with the going on’s?? walked over across the street and enjoyed live music at oyster city bar, and Grill

There was an enormous amount of construction in the immediate vacinity and they started at 7 a.m. so alot of of construction noise.

Didn't eat breakfast because of sleep time. Didn't take advantage of the early morning breakfast.

Accesible, walking distance to Cascade Park, Publix, Chipotle and College Town

Great place to stay 3 minutes from FSU. Clean and modern. We stayed in a king suite and bed was comfortable, sleeper sofa comfortable. Will stay there again.

Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. The parking for $35 a night is absolutely absurd.

The 5th floor was nice and quiet, the room was super clean and the beds are very comfortable. We have stayed here several times as our daughter attends FSU. The only critique is that the bottom floors can be a little loud at times with people and traffic outside, but it is a college town after all. Excellent stay and we like this hotel the best out of the 3 that are on/near campus and within walking distance.

Parking was $35 even though it is their property and I was a paying guest?

Loved the full kitchen and complimentary airport shuttle. Also breakfast was really good! A lot of variety for both cold and hot breakfast. Pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to enjoy.

I chose this hotel for the location and it did not disappoint! Central location, can walk to nearby events, restaurants and right across the street is the civic center. Our room was so nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be booking for future Tallahassee trips!
