DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tallahassee

They have two restaurants, while we were there the rooftop restaurant was closed on the holiday, which is fine. They gave us other local options to dine at. Harry’s seafood is right down the street and the food there was great. The staff was nice, my first introduction was from Sam on the night shift and he gave us all the details on to maximize our stay. They did have some construction going on but we slept right through it. Overall, the stay was 10/10

I booked this hotel for my 18 year old to attend her college orientation. My daughter who was going to be the guest proactively contacted this property on the same day to be told that she would be denied check in because of her age although on the booking information suggests that with an accompanying designation letter from myself along with pertinent credit card information, it was possible. They were unapologetic about this and offered no recourse stating that it was not their problem. This information was to the least misleading and obviously caused a major inconvenience. I would never be choosing this brand and I suggest you do your research prior to booking.

Room is clean and no smell or stains. The front desk is not very friendly and seems like she didn’t wanna help me. Quite rude

Pictures of the rooms on the website are not accurate. Did not get the room I booked and staff were unhelpful.in addressing the issue, request to be moved to a different room and was told nothing was available. Room had a very loud dehumidifier which had to run or the room smelled dank. The smallest shower enclosure I've ever been in, horrible shower head that barley worked. No microwave, no sitting chair or couch as indicated in the room description. Garage parking is very limited, no lifted trucks or high SUV can make it past the 2nd floor. Nothing to do in the immediate area.

Location. Valet Jake- personable and pleasant No water in lobby ( complimentary) or coffee...most all hotels have a coffee and water service. Yes, there was a coffee maker in room, but one on lobby would have been more appreciated. Its the norm at most all hotels, even at lesser price points.

Dining room area was cold and poorly lit. We valet parked and had no problem with this. Close to the capitol and some good bars and restaurants.

Doubeltree Tally is gorgeous and Brianna was incredibly helpful. The room was clean and had great views of the downtown square. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be back.

Location The stuff. All the common spaces are decorated in a really vulgar way. The overall impression is that the hotel it’s run by someone highly incompetent

Unfortunately, it wasn't the best. The staff was friendly but check-in was slow. The decor of the front lobby gave the impression of a construction zone and felt rather gaudy. They had some sort of convention/bazar going on in the lobby which made it feel cramped and stressful as you check in. The lobby was hot. There didn't appear to be any AC in the elevator or hallways. The rooms themselves aligned better with the elegance you would expect from a Double Tree but the hallway doors were undercut allowing light and sound from the hallway to easily penetrate in. I was also right next to the elevator which sounded light a freight train. I'm not sure who made all these decisions which definitely detracted from any peaceful haven of a hotel but I would not wish to return.

Air conditioning was extremely noisy. Room next door was noisy. Didn’t sleep and parking was horrible. 34 dollars to park in ridiculous garage. Over priced. Do not recommend

and Jen at the coffee shop she is THE BEST

The AC was noisy. The bathroom door did not slide properly, the lock on the door would work 1 out of 3 attempts, etc The personnel was very attentive and efficient.

I didn’t eat or drink at the restaurant. The coffee shop was only open in the morning.
