OYO Hotel Tallahassee Downtown

Location The room was disgusting! I have never stayed in a hotel were the room was so dirty- I couldn’t even sleep in the bed. The pillows had blood!! It was so nasty I left early stayed only 1 night and the manager refused to give me a refund. I would love to share pictures.

Needs a complete remodel. Doors looked punched in, walls dirty/ needs paint, old furniture with cigarette stains, no coffee, stingy with towels/ toiletries, felt unsafe, no hair dryer, definitely “on your own” and a complete rip off.

The motel was dirty, Roaches in the room. See pics. Staff was not helpful and would not give me the number to the main headquarters. Instead they told me to look it up online, they also tried to book me for 2 days instead of 1 and would not cancel it, but told me to call the main office instead. I had to demand they give me the number and stay present while i called the main office to cancel the in authorized extra night they booked me for.

0 STAR Absolutely Disgusting I understand that when you book a two-star hotel, you’re not expecting luxury or a five-star experience. Sometimes you simply need an affordable place to sleep for the night. But there is absolutely no excuse for a room to be this dirty, unkempt, and unsanitary. I booked a Deluxe King Room (Room 121), and what I walked into was completely unacceptable. The bed did NOT appear to be a king-size bed, despite the front desk insisting that it was. More importantly, the bed was dirty, the curtains were dirty, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The toilet and overall condition of the bathroom were unacceptable. See the pictures for yourself. I went back to the front desk and showed the clerk the pictures. I explained that the room was disgusting and that I wanted a refund because I did not feel comfortable staying in that room. Instead of addressing the condition of the room, I was told that the bed was a king-size bed. At approximately 2:00 in the morning, I desperately needed somewhere to sleep. I am also handicapped, so being offered another room upstairs with two beds was not an ideal situation. However, the second room was considerably better than Room 121, so I had very little choice but to accept it. Even in the second room, we did not feel comfortable getting under the covers. The room had an unpleasant smell, and we cleaned what we could ourselves just so we could get through the night.

This was the worse hotel I have ever seen. I’m sure there is crazy illegal activities going on there Dailey. Do not stay here!

The room needs love. The bathroom door had a hole in it that looked like someone punched it. The towels were small and thin.

The best thing about this hotel is its management. The beds were comfortable. Its in Midtown, which is a great location. It is possible to walk around, but I did not see many pedestrians. Do !!!NOT!!! go there with Kids. Shady things happened in the room below us. Room smelled weird.

It was quiet for the most part. The room was reasonably clean. There was a guy that kept smoking marijuana on the stairs by my door and the smell was pulled into the room by the AC unit. This happened like 5 times throughout the night. When I said something to the manager at checkout, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn’t help what people do. Yet he spent most of the afternoon standing outside watching people come and go. I felt very “watched” because he kept staring at the doors and windows. I dunno…
