Econo Lodge Airport at RJ Stadium

Its location and price. The room looked beat up. The shower faucet is broken. Couldn’t get cold or hot water correctly. The water was turned off while still needed.

Only thing that was problem was the drug deals going down on the property. I stepped outside to smoke. Within 10 minutes, 3 different cars pulled up. Went to same room, knocked, went in, and came back out 1 minute later.

The staff was great. The smelly sheets.Seems like they were never washes just straightened after the last person slept on them , roaches walking all over, the dusty table and night stand and a odor.

Very dated just needs updated other than that fine for quick stay....staff were cool....lighting around property inadequate

ice not working, but staff gave me a small bag. lamp broke. but the main issue was ....THE TV DID NOT WORK, i should be entitled to a big discount on next stay or something.......

The location seemed safe. The lobby was clean and when we checked in the staff was mediocre. No "hello", just a "you checking in?". They weren't rude, they just did what they needed to get us checked in with no conversation. At least a smile would of been nice. The room had some issues. You could see daylight around the whole door. Someone was able to slip in a menu with no problem. The carpet definitely needed replaced! It looked dirty, stains, and rippling. I made sure I wore my flip flops inside. I was looking forward to a hot bath, but the drain and drain stop had calcium build up and I just couldn't. The inside of the toilet was stained and the seat could be replaced. The caulking around the toilet was ridiculous looking. The nightstand had a glass top that hasn't been cleaned, it had smudges and cup rings. The air conditioner was on the loud side. The bed was clean and comfortable. And lastly, a condom wrapper was left in the ice bucket. We would of been happy with a mint on the pillow. LOL

I would not stay here again.

The rooms are dated and need to updated but they were clean. The front desk staff was excellent. Very helpful. The location was great to get the Bucs Stadium.

The hotel was convenient for the concert we attended. Was nice to be able to walk back to the hotel. Did not feel unsafe on the walk or the hotel. I would stay again but would remember to bring my own amenities to use!!

Its an old building that needs remodeled BUT they do keep it clean. Its also extremely budget friendly and was convenient for my daughter and I to stay at while we went to a concert at the stadium. We walked to the stadium so that helped with not having to pay for parking. Several people from our hotel and the one next door did the same thing. It was so close! Rooms were clean, so were the beds and towels. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect 👌 We felt safe there. It was quiet. I would definitely book again.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience. It’s an old building, the bathroom is not well maintained and looked dirty. We had not enough shower towels and no hand/face towels at all. No hot water when we had a shower. My pillow was half size of a regular pillow and the bed sheets/cover are very cheap quality and old. The smell of the room was bad. The fridge froze my fruits and all the drinks we brought. I am actually very surprise this property is part of Expedia at all.

Lo unico expectacular que tiene lo cerca de el stadium Raymond James, el personal de front desk lo demas no es nada de lo que te muestran en las fotos a la hora de comprar, las instalaciones de los cuartos baño horrible y cucarachas, tanto esperar desde que tenia mi reserva en enero para encontrarme con esto! Y no habia mas nada disponible cerca para poder cancelar y irme a otro!

I booked this hotel because of its close proximity to the stadium, but unfortunately the overall condition of the property was very poor. The ceiling was leaking and clearly needed cleaning and repainting. The room itself was extremely outdated, and several basic features were not functioning properly. The tub/shower switch did not work, there were very few outlets available, and one of the lamps couldn’t be used because there was no outlet anywhere near where it was placed. We were only provided two towels and one washcloth for three guests. Additionally, we passed two ice machines during our stay and both were out of order. Staff were generally okay, but the hotel required a $100 deposit for a single overnight stay, which is unusually high—especially considering that higher‑end hotels typically charge much less or none at all. Overall, the experience was disappointing and the hotel is in need of significant updates and repairs.

Rooms and overall cleanliness could be improved. Otherwise, it’s close to the stadium and walkable. The staff was helpful and super friendly. It was definitely a better experience than a few years ago.

They didn't allow me to check in. So I paid for nothing. That they robbed me for my money but wouldn't check me in stating my payment never went through but the money was taken off of my account.
