Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa/Ybor City/Downtown

My only complaint is that the room is very hot. Front desk person told me the AC works by motion. 😏. If I am sleeping I doubt very much that I will be getting up to walk in front of the sensor to activate it to have the AC kick in. Also no good views. You either have the parking area or the noise side of town with the trolley. 😩.

Has to pay 40 dollar by day for parking by day nobody said that before you booking , have to page for internet 10 dollars by day extra , has to pay for pet 40 dollar by day and 50 dollar for corner fee , I know I have to pay but is better if they said something about after reservation I have the choice if I want to cling or not

Great property and great location. The staff were also excellent. The parking wasn’t the best.

The Front Desk worker ( I think his name is Mike) was extremely helpful! He gave us suggestions on where to eat and told us about the awesome trolley! The property is about two blocks away from a very active Ybor nightlife scene! Close enough to walk but far enough to not be inconvenience by the noise.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Awesome staff and encironment

A little hard to figure out where to park to check in and then to park in the deck. The area around the hotel felt a little questionable although we realized it was downtown. A little artsy.

I got overcharged for parking. However, the property was able to resolve the issue and I was able to get a refund.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful on events and places around.

Parking expensive

Parking was easy. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Liked the variety of beverages and snacks for purchase in the lobby. Close to our destination.

The staff was exceptional!

The staff were great and quick to respond to an issue with the room. The room was “clean” but could have really used a finer detail to the cleanliness.

Had a great time, parking was easy the place was clean. It was in a great area of the city.

Everyone was pleasant. Mickey was really nice at the front desk.

Cannot recommend. Too many issues with property, location great if you plan to focus 100% on Ybor City…otherwise, best to get to get downtown hotel.

The parking situation could be improved. There was plenty of parking once I found the lot. However, they want you to self park and figure out how to pay online without any assistance from staff. I don’t expect to have to do things self service and it did not work for me. I tried numerous times and had to get the staff to eventually override the system and enter it in self because they cannot use the automated system successfully either. For the rates charged here wants to expect more full service, not do it yourself. One has to ask for everything.

It was okay. Just that okay. $300 bucks for one Saturday night felt WAY overpriced. Great staff. Let me check in early. Would stay elsewhere next time.
