Holiday Inn Tampa North by IHG

Entered the property and waited at the front desk to check in. No staff present. Didn't have to wait long to be fair, but not what im accustomed to with other products.... room was clean but non-stop pounding all night from over head noise from the room above. Shower took a sold 8 min to get warm ... additional fees for parking..... two waters and a 2 vitamin waters was another $20 .... and then after check out more additional mystery charges to my card and have yet to receive an invoice but no problem in sending me this survey ... We were here for USF orientation ... next time we will stay further away at a more reliable product. Rest is important... and overall I felt like this was a Luke Warm "ok" . Id like to know what the extra charges were in addintion to parking and water. We literally slept , showered and left ... but it managed to add an additional 80$ over the actual room ... I could have stayed at another property...and had all of this at a lower NET cost

I arrive to the property and was informed I was transfer to another hotel because there was a problem with the rooms available, and I was promised I would get the same room with 2 queen beds, when I get to the other hotel I was put in a room with only 1 bed and a sofa bed, not the accomodations I have paid for, and the manager in the other hotel ws not helpful at all. very disappointed.

Perfect location. Close to USF, Busch Gardens, and restaurants. $10 parking on property was not disclosed when booking, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay

The property was close to the Moffitt Magnolia campus which is where we needed to go. The $10 extra for parking I didn’t understand. We booked an Accessibility room and was disappointed with it not really being accessible for someone in a wheelchair. It had 2 queen beds which were nice and comfortable but the beds were way too high to get on and off. The bathroom was a good size but the door swung open and blocked the main entry door. The room was facing the main road and the traffic was quite noisy at times so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room in the back. The room was on the 2nd floor and all I could think of was how would we get down the stairs if there was an emergency. All other amenities were what you’d expect a Holiday Inn to have.

My daughter and I were in town for USF Orientation and stayed at the Holiday Inn USF Tampa North. We arrived at the hotel late in the day and were pleased to find the hotel well-lit. It was a clean property and felt safe. The location for USF access is superior to any other location. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and two CVS pharmacies within a short distance. The rooms were basic, but clean and updated. There was a small refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. The floors are wood laminate, which is great for cleanliness, but makes the room feel a little cold and sterile - great if you have allergies. We will definitely stay here again over the next four years.

Overall a good experience. Comparing to other hotel stays, as we are a frequent traveler. Not the best overall but it is a good value...

The hotel was fine and clean, but there was some animal in the wall, and the wall was concrete blocks in our bedroom, and we could still hear something scratching in the wall. When I checked out and told them at the desk, the woman next to me who had been a few rooms away on the fourth floor Also said that she was trying to wake up her husband because she heard it as well. it was loud enough to wake you up. Heard it again the next morning around 11:30 as we were leaving .Also, the AC unit in the bedrooms does not have a continuous on fan so there is no white noise if you need to drown out hotel noises like I do. Our room was above the pool.

Everything is being remodeled. I just wish it were easier to get on the WIFI, parking was free and with wood floors, it sounds like elephants are walking above you.

It was a great stay. Very close to the parks.

It doesn't have as many bells and whistles and isn't as well maintained as Hotel Haya or Palihouse, but it provides a clean comfortable stay a hop skip and a jump from the USF campus. There was one weight machine, maybe two, no honey or brown sugar for the teas, the hook on the wall wasn't secured with both screws needed to do so, and a corner of the bathroom door looked worn.

Rooms clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice property, right across from my daughter's school USF. My room was clean, I love that there wasn't carpet in the room.
