Enjoyed our stay!

Cory, the gentleman who served the wonderful breakfast every morning is a delight. He’s very personable, friendly, and helpful. We were there to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday and Cory went out on his own and surprised us with a chocolate birthday pie with candles and two large mylar balloons with the number “90”. It was such a lovely gesture and completely unexpected. Highly recommend this wonderful B&B!

Where do I start on the wonderful stay we had at Hacienda del Sol? We arrived late for check in, but it was not a problem at all as the considerate staff at this wonderful B&B left instructions on how to get onsite, where to park (for free), and codes to the property and our room door. We had a large warm and very welcoming bedroom with a fireplace, a comfy couch and a rocking chair. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi style soaking tub, and a separate shower and toilet. The bed was super comfy. There was a cute fridge. Breakfast was served by chef Cory, our kind and wonderful host every morning, and was a delicious spread. The property overlooks the Sangre de Cristo mountains , and has lovely outdoor sitting areas for guests overlooking the mountains. We loved every aspect of our stay and will return whenever we’re in Taos again. Thank you Cory for your warm hospitality, you made our stay wonderful.

First, it's off the beaten path which is nice for a quiet and relaxing experience. However, it all depends on who your neighbors are. We had pot smoking ones next to us that smoked so much it filled our room at all times of the day, night and wee-early mornings (like 3am). They also played loud music from their car that could be heard at 1am. We let management know but never got a response until they called us on our way home to ask if we stole one of their pillows from the bed (that we had put on a shelf in the closet)! It was a miserable 2 days in trying to get a good night's sleep or even some type of acknowledgment from the property about our inconsiderate neighbors. They just acted as if it never happened. Good luck to those that stay! May you have good neighbors! (BTW - we stayed on the main floor that had a walkout patio. You could also hear other neighbors walking above you.)

The architecture of the place super cute. The place was 10/10 to relax super nice if you love to read and have coffee in the morning the place is very peaceful. No central A/C mini splits would be fantastic. But we come from TEXAS we’re the weather (Heat) is insane.

This b&b is absolutely wonderful, the rooms are spacious, clean, and so comfortable. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is amazing; fresh cooked eggs, tamales, quiche, fresh fruit, yogurt, and so much more and the guy running it every morning was so nice. This is our new go to place to book for Taos!

Customer service was fantastic!

Great room!

If you want to live in history, consider this place. We had a great time for a one night stay and should have stayed one more. Can handle a large group like a reunion too if planned and coordinated with property far enough in advance, which was a bit of a surprise.

Beautiful room. Very clean and neatly decorated in traditional Taos style. Also, wonderful breakfast of traditional Taos cuisine cooked by local chef. One of my absolute favorite bed and breakfast spots ever!

We loved everything about our stay. The breakfast was wonderful. The chef was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area

Quiet, clean, nicely decorated, location. The breakfast was just so so and no coffee makers in rooms. Couldn’t get coffee til 7:40. That’s a game changer for a coffee person. They DID say the breakfast prep person would make a Keureg if you needed it a little earlier but felt weird asking him to do it while he was busy with prepping breakfast.

Hospitality and location also the cook was awesome. The outside patio was right outside our sliding glass door. To loud for sleeping in. Food choices were just so-so.

Friendly support & communication. The grounds were amazing and the breakfast delicious. We enjoyed making a fire in the fireplace. The whole facility was comfortable & beautiful. We appreciated the history. The honeymoon suite was large but the shower & toilet area was a little small. The bathroom sink leaked. We had enjoyed the place regardless of the imperfections.

Gorgeous setting. Peaceful and lovely, helpful staff, yummy breakfast.

Nicely tucked away in a private location near downtown. Dusty room and overgrown plants in the backyard.

The grounds and Inn were beautiful, the bed was super comfy as were the pillows, it was clean and they had a lovely sitting area for all to enjoy as well as outdoor seating. Breakfast was amazing! There were New Mexican offerings with proteins as well as pastries, yogurt, fruit and fresh squeezed OJ. Cory who served us breakfast was so friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the history of the Inn as well as many other facts about the area. We are driving coast to coast and have stayed in many BNB’s along the way. This was hands down my favorite since we left NC! I loved everything!

This was a beautiful stay in Taos. The staff is the best we've ever experienced. And the public grounds on the property were very peaceful. We were quite disappointed with the hot tub area and the hot tub itself. Not well maintained and pretty gross. We got out of the hot tub as soon as we got in! The bathroom sink had little drips of water on the cold side, and the hot side was scorching hot immediately. Not the best stay, but not the worst.

Historic and comfortable bed and breakfast. The beds are super comfy and there are heaters along with the kiva. Breakfast was wonderful with various choices, including tamales, cereals, bagels, small quiches, tea, coffee, juice. Delicious food and the cozy dining area is very nice. Quiet and nice grounds along with a hot tub to help you wind down.
