Truly a unique gem - amazing location, extremely friendly staff (especially Cynthia and Paco), in every room is a unique piece of art in its own right. The perfect stay in Taos.
-
Unique charm and location.
-
Location, charm, staff, walking distance to all historic center of town attractions, art galleries, restaurants.

Poco the owner was awesome! He has restored the property to its historical beauty and he will explain everything you want to know about Taos! The property is so beautiful and it feels you are staying in an ancient Indian Pueblo! We really enjoyed our stay! Nothing- highly recommend this property while staying in Taos

Really comfortable bed. Very nice cool breeze in the evening and over night was great for sleeping with the windows open. Parking is s bit tight, though we really didn’t have a problem.
-
It was hand crafted, unique and close to downtown square. Paco, the owner was very charming. The grounds surrounding the hotel were a shambles.

Hello, we stayed mid-week so we were a bit disappointed to learn that breakfast is only served on weekends. Howerver, our stay was fantastic. The Inn is located right in the heart of the town making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was decorated with antiques and painted with a native flair. Loved it. There is a nice dining room and living room when you can relax. Paco is a great host. The only disappointment was breakfast is served on weekends.

My wife and I loved our stay at the La Dona Luz Inn. Paco, the owner, was a treat to meet and to talk to and learn about the history of the Inn and the exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful decorations throughout the Inn. Our room fantastic with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and spacious room. The Inn is an ideal location for walking around the historic Taos center. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Everything. It started with Paco and went to Cynthia and went to my room and went to the weather and went to the location - ALL OF IT. Thank you Thank you for making this stay so very enjoyable and special! The shower hose and the TV channels! The shower hose didn't operate smoothly, but I wasn't in town for an extended stay, but wanted to mention it. As for the TV, it's a personal preference, but just wanted to notate it.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were good. We enjoyed having the spa tub too. It’s a little tricky to start up but easy once you figure it out. Paco, the owner, was very helpful, friendly and available for any questions or suggestions/ recommendations during our stay. The location is the best for walking around the historic center of Taos. Only a few minutes from cafes, bars, restaurants, museums, shops etc. Nothing bad

Very good location and unique hotel. I liked the property. I don’t have any complaints

The Expedia listing states that this property has a free continental breakfast. The owner told us that there is no breakfast during the week, but he makes breakfast for guests on the weekend. This should be detailed on Expedia.
-
The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell the hosts truly care about the guest experience. Every detail felt intentional and welcoming. The location was also perfect, right in the middle of Taos and close to everything, which made it very convenient to explore the area. This is one of those places that makes you want to come back. I would highly recommend Dona Lutz to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and memorable stay.

Just stunning Everything was fabulous

Breakfast was fantastic. The room was very nice and had a fun eclectic decorative flare. Paco was friendly and informative. Carol Anne made a wonderful breakfast each morning. Would have liked to have had the room serviced so I could make coffee everyday. We did request service and no one ever came to make up the room.

Very clean room The room looked like a museum for new Mexico Very cool My friends loved pictures of my room.
