No breakfast in the summer which was a bummer since that is a large part of why we choose it. We were only there one night so it wasn't a huge issue. Great walking location to all things downtown and the porch was nice and shaded.

We loved this eclectic, beautiful property. Perfect location to town. Breakfast was great. Manager was very helpful. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

A quirky little Inn, but so full of art and so close to the Square. Parking is not an easy situation, but once you get the hang of it, really isn't an issue. We walked to everything. Paco was most helpful, and never underfoot. We had a room that opened up to the 'common' area courtyard, and used it several times a day, just to sit and be present in the moment. Street noise was bothersome, but other than that, so wonderful.

The whole bathroom was painted the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve the serpent the forbidden fruit the whole nine yards. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the parking of your car. Not enough space and the back part of the hotel is junky. Tammy Carter

My first stay at this greatest-location-ever hotel was stellar. The room was spacious and comfy, very southwestern and calming. The art is remarkable and thoughtful. My breakfast was simple and delicious and perfect for starting the day off right!

Truly a unique gem - amazing location, extremely friendly staff (especially Cynthia and Paco), in every room is a unique piece of art in its own right. The perfect stay in Taos.

Poco the owner was awesome! He has restored the property to its historical beauty and he will explain everything you want to know about Taos! The property is so beautiful and it feels you are staying in an ancient Indian Pueblo! We really enjoyed our stay! Nothing- highly recommend this property while staying in Taos

The grounds surrounding the hotel were a shambles.

Great location. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Accommodations were very “Taos style”. Really comfortable bed. Very nice cool breeze in the evening and over night was great for sleeping with the windows open. Parking is s bit tight, though we really didn’t have a problem.

Hello, we stayed mid-week so we were a bit disappointed to learn that breakfast is only served on weekends. Howerver, our stay was fantastic. The Inn is located right in the heart of the town making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was decorated with antiques and painted with a native flair. Loved it. There is a nice dining room and living room when you can relax. Paco is a great host. The only disappointment was breakfast is served on weekends.

My wife and I loved our stay at the La Dona Luz Inn. Paco, the owner, was a treat to meet and to talk to and learn about the history of the Inn and the exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful decorations throughout the Inn. Our room fantastic with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and spacious room. The Inn is an ideal location for walking around the historic Taos center. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Everything. It started with Paco and went to Cynthia and went to my room and went to the weather and went to the location - ALL OF IT. Thank you Thank you for making this stay so very enjoyable and special! The shower hose and the TV channels! The shower hose didn't operate smoothly, but I wasn't in town for an extended stay, but wanted to mention it. As for the TV, it's a personal preference, but just wanted to notate it.

We felt like we were back home in Spain during our stay here. It’s like staying in a museum. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were good. We enjoyed having the spa tub too. It’s a little tricky to start up but easy once you figure it out. Paco, the owner, was very helpful, friendly and available for any questions or suggestions/ recommendations during our stay. The location is the best for walking around the historic center of Taos. Only a few minutes from cafes, bars, restaurants, museums, shops etc. Nothing bad

Very good location and unique hotel. I liked the property. I don’t have any complaints

The Expedia listing states that this property has a free continental breakfast. The owner told us that there is no breakfast during the week, but he makes breakfast for guests on the weekend. This should be detailed on Expedia.

The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell the hosts truly care about the guest experience. Every detail felt intentional and welcoming. The location was also perfect, right in the middle of Taos and close to everything, which made it very convenient to explore the area. This is one of those places that makes you want to come back. I would highly recommend Dona Lutz to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and memorable stay.
