AC Hotel Phoenix Tempe/Downtown

Great overall place to stay in Tempe. Appreciated the ice water machines on the floors to fill before heading out and returning from the day’s activities. Drinks were great at the bar as well

Exceptional

I was only there for one night, but the room was nice and clean, also comfortable. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. Nights were quiet and I had no trouble sleeping. I especially loved the rain shower! Will likely stay here again, wish I had time to use the pool.

We had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott. What stood out to me most was the exceptional cleanliness. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the entire property was equally clean and inviting. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in caring for the hotel. I was very impressed and would gladly stay here again.

Housekeeping service not good ; foul smell coming from AC - told front desk abt it.

The pool is small and does not have a hot tub. The pool area had a nice sitting area with umbrellas and furniture, but the pool is on the 6th floor- that much closer to the sun- its too hot up there to enjoy sitting there. They should've opted for a slightly larger pool and less seating.

Lovely view of the river. Walking distance to a lot Paying for parking and no fireworks. Not your fault that one

Excellent hotel for the price I paid! Right next the river, walkable to downtown Tempe, great rooftop pool and pretty decent gym. The room was also good! Clean and the shower was luxurious. Only knock was $20 for a mid breakfast but everything else was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay. Great customer service from the staff. The property was very well maintained.

Exceptional

The hotel was centralized in an area where there are a lot of restaurants and stores. The room was clean and quiet. The pool was very enjoyable with a lot of areas to sit. The only thing I did not like was parking. My husband is disabled and parking in the structure next-door was too much walking for him. We also had issues using the elevator because it would work occasionally and he had to walk the stairs from the second floor. Other than that, it was great.

Superb service from all staff. Shout out to both Jack and Carlo on front desk, and Chandler and Victoria serving breakfast. Great facilities (pool, gym). Very pleasant lobby lounge/bar to chill in. We were travelling as family of 4 adults (perfect). Would also be great business trip accomodation (there were plenty of obvious business trippers around). Struggled to keep room cool with A/C on lowest setting with max fan (room 501). Admittedly it was 110 degree day. Return air also quite noisy, but hotel does provide ear plugs.

Air conditioning was not working properly, room was humid all night and very hard to sleep in. Also had a water leak in the room which had maintenance crew knocking on our door early morning

I had an emergency stay because I was in between apartments literally by 1 day. I was distraught by how my old apartment complex was treating me so, i just had to go ahead and book a hotel. I was very stressed by the situation and when i got to this hotel, the smiles, quick chit chat and helpfulness of the staff made the weight of the world disappear for just a moment. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious to relax. House keeping was also sweet to me when i made a mess in the hallway. Being treated nicely when the world has got on your last nerve is so much appreciated. You never know what people are going through. Thank you to the staff for providing a safe, friendly and clean atmosphere for customers like me? The parking, its inconvenient but not enough to take stars away.

Was not awhere the parking was in a separate building, not attached. And that is $20 bucks a night for that.
