The Westin Tempe

No wastebasket in the bathroom. Turned out to be very inconvenient. The cover for LED light strip in bathroom fell on me while brushing my teeth. The bath towels had a strong odor. Not bleach, something musty.

Beautiful, convenient property with incredibly friendly staff. The only small issue was a room that smelled as if it had been smoked in and then "purified" leaving a strong perfume/cleaner smell.

The mattress quality of the sofa was unacceptable and caused me to have a sore neck which turned into a very strained and sore back on travel home. I am now seeing a doctor, for the amount of money for the charge they should have higher grade and quality of mattress in sofa or atleast a topper offered. I also made 3 calls to front desk for new towels - they never came

The Westin in Tempe is a fairly new hotel. The lobby is spacious with multiple seating areas. It is well located within Tempe. One can walk to restaurants and Tempe Beach Park. The rooms had floor to ceiling windows overlooking Tempe. There was a rooftop bar near the pool. The only downside to the latter was lack of covering in the heat of the day. Breakfast was good but advise ordering a la carte unless you are quite hungry. Staff gave vouchers at check-in for coffee, smoothies and margaritas.

The view from the rooftop bar/pool area was lovely. We didn’t eat on site but the menu looked interesting. The staff was helpful. We will definitely book again.

Great location, facility and the staff are GREAT there. I've stayed there twice and loved it each time.

I loved the room, clean and nice. Just a heads up you have to pay for parking which is valet only that is extra $49 there or $16 dollar with $4 fee every time you leave and that lot is a block away from the hotel. Other than that we had a good trip.

Our room was nice and clean and updated. Comfortable room with beautiful view.
