Sonder at Mill Ave

Loved the room and spaciousness! It was not as easy as I hoped to find the key locker and know I was even in the right building. Nothing is marked Sonder. They should be more clear, perhaps even say it is in the same building as Whole Foods, and change the access guide to appear on phones better. A map is at the top that is somewhat worthless, and if you're tired or not paying attention, you may miss that you have to scroll down to where the clear directions are to find your keys. If you arrive with a dead cell phone, you are screwed. After that rough start, however, the property was nice and an excellent value.

We were in Tempe to catch a football game, so the location was great for that use. Easy walking access to shopping and food. The furniture was average, but did have some use. Parts of the building seem to be student housing, but the public spaces were nice and we had no noise issues.

It was the perfect place for a nice quiet vacation

I enjoyed my stay at Sonde Tempe. This space is clean and modern however there is no luggage storage.

I stayed at Sonder Tempe with a group of ladies from my social media based Texas outdoor & travel group! The accommodation itself was great— nice amenities, modern, Whole Foods next door, rail and streetcar options, the low rating is because I was told the day of check in that my rooms was overbooked and my group would need to stay in a 1 bedroom, this was an extreme hassle. Also there is no luggage storage. If you stay here you must be flexible!

The room was very dark. Need more lights in the living room. The standing lamp lightbulb was as faint.

This property hit all the marks for what I would like in a stay. It’s not a hotel however has amenities better than most hotels, the place seems more secure in some ways, and the location was perfect for anyone wanting to be involved with ASU.

Clean

Carpets were really dirty and stained in the apartment and in the complex in general. No staff on site so everything is delayed if you need an extra blanket or towels. No pool towels and only 1 towel per person was left, a single face cloth.

Amazing.Few off downtown tempe.Definitely will do again. And highly recommend.

The unit was very spacious and well appointed. Stackable washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen and all of the modern conveniences one finds useful while traveling. The negatives: the sofa/ sofa sleeper needs to be retired. The cushions on the sofa are very worn and the sofa sleeper is in horrific conditions. The springs are completely out making sleeping on there impossible. Putside.of the unit, the hallway carpet is stained everywhere and the elevator cabs are very dirty and not properly maintained. Also, the trash shoot on the floor was full. The location is a 10 out of 10. The building connects to a Whole Foods and is walkable to many good dining options. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and will book here again.

Add an issue. The gentleman stayed in the phone with me until the the issue was complete. The place is so clean and amazing. Walking distance to downtown.I will definitely come back.

Difficult check-in. Room door code did not work and needed to cal (and wait) and call again (and wait again) for customer service. Finally got a backup code. Separately, 2 of the 6 nights did not have hot water…

Great spot. Enjoyed the balcony and views it had to offer. Plethora of spots to eat at is always nice.
