Studio 6 Texarkana, Tx

Easy check in, room was clean and bed was comfy. Great quick stay with my daughter and her cat.

The area was so sketchy I almost kept driving but had already booked the room. I was pleasantly surprised. Huge room, perfectly clean, recently renovated and an incredible deal for 80$ on hotels.com. Very convenient to the highway. Area WAS very sketchy at night, I'd think twice as a single woman traveling (trash in the parking lot, grounds pretty rough, outdoor areas dirty, dude walking around with boxers only) but otherwise a good, clean, cheap spot. Even had nice truck parking and a kitchenette with full size fridge.

The room was filthy, I specifically rented a non-smoking room, and the room reeked of cigarettes, there was literally cigarette ashes on the bathroom floor! The handicap bars in the bathroom were loose, with the screws hanging out of the wall, which would be a major hazard for anybody needing to use them, the walls had filth smeared all over, the shower/tub was so filthy I didn't even feel like it would be safe to shower, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, and felt like I was sleeping on a pile of loose fencing, the bed frame was in bad shape, the bedding was so thin you could see through the sheet and quilt combined, the pillows were the least terrible thing in the room, and they even sucked. The AC was horrible, either wayyy too cold, or wayyyy too hot! The guy at the counter was rude, and unfriendly, and just literally every single aspect of my stay was horrible!

Home was clean well stocked good location host very accommodating

Bare bone but it did the trick. Room was clean, bed was soft. If you want amenities, probably not the place for you.

Room was spartan. Motel in a bad area.

Love having full size fridge w/freezer. Spacious room. Great midway stop in our drive. Only issue I have is the housekeeping staff knocks on the door at 9am. This has happened twice now on one night stays. Checkout isn’t until 11am. Why are they disturbing us at 9am??

This is a very typical motel 6.

Floor was filthy Air conditioning would not turn down you either fried in the heat or froze in the cold It did have a fridge we used that was nice

No coffee maker in room or lobby. Room was clean. Staff were pleasant.

The best part about this property was checking out. Signage stated checkout time was at noon although some very pushy and rude staff/maids/house keepers began knocking on our door at 11:00 am. The young man said he was in a hurry and had an appointment. Really? These people do not belong in the hospitality business. There are too many good hard working Americans who want our business to support this kind of behavior.

There were vagrants in the parking lot that were harassing and aggressive. Would not recommend to any person traveling solo. Felt highly unsafe.

Bedding had stain stains all over it do not recommend

This is not a real Studio 6. It’s just a bigger Motel 6 room at the Motel 6. The pictures showed interior entrances to the room and the actual room is not. The entry doors are cheap residential metal door. The deadbolt doesn’t latch all the way, and the flip lock is attached only to the pine trim. The entries are not secure at all. The mattresses are also a very cheap innerspring mattress.
