DoubleTree by Hilton Portland - Tigard

I booked a room for two days but I only used one. There wasn't enough parking. One truck and trailer took up 5 parking spots alone. They are doing remodeling work and starting working very early. Hardly any water pressure for my shower. The sink handles were very loose and hard to turn off. The mini fridge was so loud I had to unplug it to get to sleep. The service was great. All and all I had too book at another hotel.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. We understood when we booked this hotel we would not receive housekeeping services every day. While being fine with that, it would be nice for in room coffee and creamer/sugar to be replenished daily. If this service isn't provided, to create a pick up station where we could pick up towels and our coffee for the room coffee maker without waiting for front desk staff to be available. There was usually coffee available in the lobby most mornings, but it's nice to be able to make a cup in the room without having to get dressed to go to the lobby.

The property is located in a quiet section of Tigard. It was convenient to a venue where we attended an evening wedding. Our room was spacious, comfortably appointed and clean. We traveled with a pet, and it was nice to be located on the end of a hallway where we could use the stairs to get our pup in and out of the motel easily without taking her on the elevator. While there isn't any grass to speak of on the property, the neighborhood is pretty quiet and there's a property right across from the motel to walk. The only downside to the motel is the parking if fairly jammed up, so get there early to park.

Friendly staff, roll was great

Iman is wonderful. She makes check in a breeze. We love staying here. The rooms are perfect, breakfast is good, it’s quiet and in a great location for food and shopping. It’s easily accessible to/from I-5. We’ve stayed here 3 times and are going back soon for another stay.

Right off I-5 freeway and next to major mall and several testaursnts. Nice facility. Staff very nice.

the facility looked nice, but we were not there long enough to take in or actually use any of the "amenities", nor would I trust that they were hygenic the room was actually filthy. the floors were sticky and when wiped with their white towels, the towels were black. the hair dryer handle was also very sticky, so definitely not cleaned. the curtains has small holes in them. the fridge was in a box, that during the night sounded like an alarm, so sleep was far from ideal. i would not choose to stay here again. one more thing, half the lights in the room were offline and would not work

Comfortable bed. It wasn’t disclosed in advance that parking was extra and was charged $ 10 a day.

It appears the remodeling was still in progress. The bistro and bar weren’t open yet. The pool was open, but cloudy and the room was very warm/humid…maybe typical for an indoor pool. The breakfast was very underwhelming. We ate there the first day, but chose to go elsewhere the other days of our stay. The staff was helpful.

The staff was excellent

All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and accommodating. Even when I messed up my reservation, they were very understanding and went above and beyond to help me remedy the problem.

Our room wasn’t finished, new carpet, missing window screens, torn draperies, rough patched and painted wall in bathroom, never had actual hot water in sink, shower was fine. Two towels for 3 people. Staff was very happy to get more and bedding for sleeper sofa. Bedroom area had big wall fixtures on two walls where bed might have been prior but now on opposite wall, lights didn’t work. They charged 15.00 for a breakfast buffet that was minimal and free elsewhere. Front desk area was primed walls, unfinished electrical outlets. Definitely not what we expected from a Hilton. Understanding that remodels need to occur, 6-7 months is a long time to still look like a bomb went off. First impression was are they even open when we pulled in.

Hotel is currently being renovated lots of noise which would’ve been nice to have known before booking Rooms have been updated, but they’re still dirty with lots of dust, needed a good clean

Breakfast potatoes could be less dry but everything else was excellent!

About every other flush of the water closet, the lid had to be removed from the tank, and the flush mechanism had to be reset to fill the tank.

Good location. Great room. Great bed and TV. Lobby was dirty, although there was construction going on. Plates and cutlery were dirty for breakfast. I had to go back to find cutlery and plates that didn’t have food still on them after we picked them out of the clean cutlery dispenser. Hallway had spilled food in it - staff seemed totally unaware and need to be more mature and professional.
