The hotel was a wreck, totally runned down, smells like mold (we woke up in the morning feeling like we injested a large dose of mold). The outside was in terrible shape, looks like it’s about to fall down with half paint job done. Pictures advertised on Expedia were totally inaccurate! Our bathroom sink was totally clogged when we checked in and staff didn’t even offer to fix it when we complained about it. We would NOT ever recommend this place to anyone! In fact, we will tell our friends/family that if they ever go to Topeka, to avoid this hotel.

Property was ok, it was clean and provided breakfast.

Location and room size Pool is closed and overall care just seemed to be missing

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel to visit family. First time we cut them slack cause they were in the middle of a “remodel” they said. However, this time I felt like we were treated different then other people who booked there stay there. Go to the bathroom the door wouldn’t shut all the way, pool closed for whatever reason like what the heck it is an indoor pool like why, third of all accusing of us stealing towels is stupid and charging us $80 for them. When we wouldn’t want your ugly towels to begin with!!! And here is picture proof of the disappointment with this hotel! I highly DONOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY at this HOTEL!! You will not feel like you are at home at all!

Super easy check-in and out. Staff was super understanding and helpful. Everything was clean and nice.

There was a storm before we arrived and the air had been out for a day or so. The hotel smelled really bad when we arrived. The room was okay but the hallways and common areas were almost unbearable. Like strong garlic and mold. When we got the room the air was not on so it took a while to cool off the room. We went out to dinner to give it some time and it was okay for sleeping. Also, the pool was closed and it looked like the storm must have ruined part of the front of the building. Front desk attendant was very nice and helpful despite the situation.

Looks like an old Fairfield Inn hotel. TV did not work in room. Outlets on side of bed did not work. Room had fridge and microwave. Pool was shutdown. Not worth saving a couple of bucks to stay here.

The hallway/hallway lights were very dim/flickering. The front of the hotel does not look like the photos, and when we got to our room, it was probably 80+ degrees in there at 7pm, ac unit barely was able to cool to 65 degrees by morning. Made for a very poor rest night!

Worst hotel I have ever been to
-
The outside was a little scary but inside kept us comfortable for the duration of our stay. Great place to rest on a roadtrip

A shout out and kudos to Bryan C on the staff for helping with an A/C issue. Clean rooms, great breakfast.

Property appears to be in an exterior remodel project. Room was clean, but toilet didn’t flush right and ended up not flushing at all. Even the toilet in lobby area didn’t flush all the way, indicating it may be a property wide issue. It was an ok experience, but definitely not my favorite property and may not be one I would probably choose to go to again. It was pretty clean and staff was great which is why it had more stars than I typically would have given

Somebody needs to fix the shower curtain in the room I was in it is about to come out of the wall with the screws!
-
The whole place has seen better days. The manager needs to keep an eye on maintenance and cleaning staff, things are getting missed.

Remodeling is not complete

The hotel looked nothing like pictures online. Not sure if they're renovating the outside or if it's just run down.

We had no hot water at our sink. The shower barely worked. The place looks like it is literally falling apart. I would never stay here again.

Let's start with the bed part of the room itself. The cleaning staff did a good job with the things they have influence on. The towels and bedsheets were clean. However, the blackout curtains were stained brown top and bottom. The top receptacle outlet on one side of the bed was completely dead. There is no place to plug in the coffee maker, so I had to use the bathroom sink countertop. The "freezer" part of the mini fridge was almost unusable due to ice buildup. The bathroom was another story. The door frame and hinges were rusted. The grout in the floor tiles was very stained. The caulking around the toilet was cracked and stained brown. The bath fan was dirty and the ceiling was brown with water damage. The non-slip mat in the tub was stained gray. And, the shower head made a loud howling noise at anything more than a trickle. At least the water was hot. I always associated Wyndham with a more upscale and reliably clean stay, but this one will make me think twice about booking a Wyndham place again.

Staff was hard to find. Called front desk multiple times with no answer. Check out times listed were inconsistent, but they did honor the latest time. Air conditioning worked but was inconsistent.
