Quality Inn I-70 at Wanamaker

The walls (or at least the wallpaper on them) in the lobby are cracked from water damage. The pool and hot tub were nasty. This was a smoking hotel for sure at one point and may still be. Our room didn't smell bad but the hallway was awful. The walls were dirty and stained. We left a pillow there and called and they said there wasn't one left there. The breakfast was okay and the beds were decent. This hotel needs a renovation and is not a nice hotel.

Great stay

We arrived around 10pm and nobody was at the desk so I panicked for a moment that we missed check in hour, but he showed up a few minutes later apologetically and was very nice! To my surprise our room was enormous (2 queens with a couch/chair), and the beds were comfy. 3 adults and 2 kids fit comfortably in beds. Refrigerator actually worked unlike most hotels I go to lol, and had usb charger ports by the lamp which was nice since I didn’t have my wall charger. My only complaint was the shower floor had this mystery blue stain on it (wore my flip flops) and the toilet was leaking a bit. Otherwise the water pressure/temperature was great. Breakfast had mini waffles, cereal, bagels/toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, juice, water dispenser. I will say by the look of the pool/jacuzzi, I would not swim in it lol but we didn’t have time to anyways. There is a Texas Roadhouse in walking distance but we went to Free State Brewery and Coldstone Creamery for dessert in Lawrence (30 mins away). Both delish!

A quick stop on a long drive. Bed was comfy but nothing else positive to add. I will not return. It’s in need of a major overhaul.

There are some cockroaches in the rooms. Furthermore, the cleaning staff tried to steal some belongings I had forgotten behind; when I went to claim them, the receptionist behaved very rudely. They wouldn't let me enter my room at 10:00 a.m., claiming they had already cleaned it—even though I hadn't yet returned the key or formally checked out. The checkout time is supposed to be 11:00 a.m.

Room was painted, nice wall decor, decent bed Carpet smelled musty and like an ashtray, it was torn and had slashes and gashes in it, the room overwhelmingly smelled like old cigarettes, the clean towels still had strands of hair on them, as did the bathroom floor, the edges of the room were not vacuumed, the air conditioner was so loud you had to blast the TV to hear it, the pool house could have been so cute but the bottom was all chipped and flaking away, the bottom wasn't cleaned, the pool ladder was not fully attached to the wall anymore, the ladder steps were loose and uneven, the ice machine was broken, a window in the pool area was all cracked and broken, several of the outside air conditioning units were exposed due to cover being off, so the place looked trashy, smelled humid and dank and musty, staff was just so so, great location though, had about 300 channels on TV but no streaming platforms, pool had missing tiles and was poorly maintained, the shower faucet was loose and leaked, the shower is ready for some remodeling, I would never stay here again or recommend it.

I love this place for the price and location it was a good experience

The check in process was horrible. I paid through hotels.com, during check in the billed me again,

Check in lady was rude when we notified them the facet in tub was running and unable to turn off. Had to beg for towels on several occasions. Staff even told us that giving us towels was not their job. Staff constantly on video calls when approached desk and were motioned to wait a minute. Only thing good about was it was clean, although sheets were stained, and location for us.

Checking in was simple. The room was clean.

Had a hot breakfast available this trip

Was good for a cheaper end hotel. Which is exactly what we were looking for at the time. Just need a place to rest for a few hours before hitting the road again. Nothing

The front desk employee was rude and seemed to be annoyed that we interrupted her phone time on her personal cell. The room was dirty and we will not be returning.

Parking was fine and we did not use the hot tub.

Facility was not clean had not been vacuumed, Dried sauce on counter, couch was water stained and the room smelled of smoke and mold. Cleanness, breakfast had no biscuits for gravy no meat of any kind.

internet and cable were out for 3 hours in the evening.
