I expect a typical “free breakfast” when I stay at a roadside hotel…scrambled eggs, sausage, an assortment of breads and cereals…the usual fare for such establishments. The bar is not very high. Unfortunately, Fairfield in Wheeling didn’t make it over the bar. The assortment of offerings was fewer than the average, and no breakfast meat, at all. When the expectation is pretty low to begin with, failure to meet the expectation is disappointing. You gotta pick up your game, Fairfield.

One of the desk associates was incredibly rude during our check-in. We arrived on time and inquired about rooms, but unfortunately, none were available. It was a truly disappointing experience.

Perfect location. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent and hotel amenities were very well maintained

A large group of young girls were running the halls and yelling. I stayed 2 nights and then a night in Pittsburgh at a different hotel and returned for 2 more nights in Wheeling and my room was never touched either of the 2-night stays (4 nights total).

The people were amazing, laid back, very helpful and attentive. Everything was perfect for our stay no complaints

Parking was perfect, room was clean and the bed comfortable. However the shower had visible dirt in it as if it had not been rinsed away and the door’s safety lock was very loose and didn’t secure.
