EVEN Hotel Detroit North - Troy

Very poor stay, was treated like it was the 40s and I paid for breakfast, waited 1hr was walked over tv did not work and the staff was unhelpful. I will not return

Everything was perfect. I was looking for a hotel for my daughter’s 10th birthday. I needed joining rooms and the Even Hotel was the only one who could accommodate me. My daughter and her 3 friends had the very best time. When one of the employees, Star heard it was my daughter’s birthday she even went above and beyond to make sure my daughter’s 10th birthday was extra special. In addition Star took the time to check in on me and make sure I was doing ok. Since my husband couldn’t stay, it was just me. I would 1000% recommend this hotel and I cannot wait to return!

So this was a middle rating kind of stay. The building has nice aesthetics, but it's under construction so you enter thru Indigo and either walk across to Even or drive and park closer to the middle doors. It's kid and pet friendly so it's not the quietest stay, especially at the pool. But! There is one whole hour reserved for adults only. The room was a little more compact than expected but it was nice and clean. The bathroom was really nice too. Shower is a good size for 2 but ours could've used an extra swipe due to some previous hair and debris in the corner. The bidet was truly amazing and a perfect touch.

Only thing I didn't like it wasn't a microwave in my room or lobby of hotel !

Upon entering the hotel, I have to say that it smelled amazing! The staff greeted me with a smile and was very helpful. Once I got to my room I have to say it was even better than pictures I viewed online. The room was immaculate. I have not complaints there. The only issue some might have is that there was no microwave in room. I was ok with that. The front desk was very accommodating if that is what you required. Even Hotel had the most amazing pool area, a bar, and restaurant to eat if that is what you wanted. I would definitely stay again.

Asked 3 times to get the room cleaned and never happened. Got stuck on the elevator. This was an extremely uncomfortable experience

The pool was great for traveling with kids. Nice restaurants were close by. The place was clean and having a bar inside was a great amenity.

Beautiful hotel. Comfy beds

Excellent staff, super clean, good food, quiet. 10/10 would stay again. Booking.com sold me a free breakfast but the hotel said they do not do free breakfast. The hotel staff were very kind and gave us one free breakfast both mornings.

Wonderful stay

Comfortable beds, nice shower and bathroom. Very easy access from I75. Would stay at again

Now, having said that, the room was spacious and well maintained with comfortable beds and pillows. The parking lot was a little difficult to maneuver around and there are actually two different hotels in the same building, which was a little different. Overall we had a decent stay.

Nichole greeted me when I arrived and helped with reservations she was polite helpful and quick

Highly recommend!! Clean, friendly, and great location!! We will be back!
