I loved all the grounds, flowers, gardens, pathways and location, restaurants and ambiance. Very beautiful gem of a place. Very old school, traditional aesthetic and ambiance with a hint of classic luxury. I have no real complaints? Maybe they could update some of the furniture in the rooms?

The Arizona Inn has been a continues to be a Tucson gem. Am very happy that the new owners are making upgrades (beautiful Mexican tile in lobby in process) and seem to be keeping the historic tradition and vibe of the place alive.

We always stay here when we visit Tucson because we love this place. It's a quiet, peaceful oasis in town. The restaurant is excellent, and the grounds are beautiful. It will be better after the construction is completed.

Located close to the University of Arizona on a quiet side street is the iconic Arizona Inn, built in the 1930’s occupying an entire city block (walled grounds). It was owned and operated by a single family until 2025 when it was acquired by a local group of investors that includes Steve Kerr a former Arizona wildcat standout and current coach of the NBA Gloden State Warriors. The good news is they are dedicated to keeping the Inn’s unique features intact while undertaking some important upgrades. This is our ~ 10th visit over a twenty-year period always in the summer when there are fewer guests and lower prices. To date our stays have never been a disappointment. The support staff consists of a number of local students and is impressive in their understanding that the clientele appreciates attentive but not obsequious service. During this stay the Inn was under renovation, but the accommodations made were most acceptable. The main dining menu which has been a historical highlight was operating with simplified but tasty offerings. Sadly, the lounge and piano bar (a favorite) were under full renovation so no lounge lizard activities were available. The NY Times is delivered and available daily with your morning coffee. The pool area was unchanged, pool side service available starting at 1000h. The gym has been expanded and upgraded. The beds/pillows and room are extremely comfortable, the rooms highly soundproof for an excellent night’s sleep. A throwback to another era is that suites have a full-sized bathtub and shower combination. The high-speed internet performs flawlessly. Coffee is available starting at 0600h…breakfast at 0730h. Free parking is available across the street from the Inn. There are no significant negatives for this property. With the upcoming upgrades the good should only get better.

Beautiful property with great location. Staff were excellent. Rooms were very large and quiet. I was unaware when I booked this facility that there was construction going on. Jackhammer’s were being used the entirety of time I was at breakfast, which was very annoying. Apparently, they are redoing the lobby area.

A beautifully maintained and historic hotel. Stepping through doors recall another quieter time. The rooms a spotless and the staff is very kind and helpful. The saxophone player in the library lounge was delightful

Beautiful property They said they were doing upgrades. Hopefully they keep the vintage charm. Rooms smelled a bit musty.
