Econo Lodge Tucumcari Route 66

Hotel was completely abandoned when we got there. Not one single other guest. There was Avery string odor ( which I’m sure was intended to smell clean ) throughout the lobby and hallways. In the room we found a giant dirt/ hairball in the middle of the room. Breakfast bar left a lot to be desired.

Typical Econo Lodge. There are other similarly priced properties that are independent that I would try next time.

Staff was able to get us in and out quickly. Breakfast was offered.

I needed a clean room, comfortable bed and a hot shower. It fit the bill perfectly.

Also my window was broken and taped.

My first room late I had to be moved second room the toilet didn't work I also asked for something on the first floor and they didn't have anything after the first room was leaking without charging me more.

There was roon in the back of my room with pipes hanging out. A sink was supposed to be in it for some odd reason. No bugs is the only compliment

The pros'- the room was clean and the air conditioner worked good, plus the breakfast was wonderful, my sister had the pancakes and a bagel! The cons'- since we had a late check in, the room I had reserved was given away (smoking), and gave us a non-smoking room. The TV wasn't working, but I think that was due to heavy winds. I mean for the price it not a bad hotel. I just wish we got the room we paid for...

The bed was wonderful! Very clean. Lovely people who turned us on to the best curry! Who knew there was excellent Indian food in Tucumcari?! Will stop on my way back.

Close to the highway, but very quiet location. I felt safe and slept like a baby. The room was clean, everything was well cared for, and the staff took special care of our needs. I can't find anything bad to say about this stay. It was everything we needed for the one night. A clean, comfortable bed and room with a hot shower, and an adequate breakfast for the price, and i felt it was a great price for the night, and I would choose to stay there again.

Rooms were very clean and made up, but are dated. The property and rooms need updating, but are very clean, and overall, it is a value for an overnight. Bed is fairly comfortable. Everything worked, and bath and shower is clean, but very dated. Needs newer updated facilities.

Was service dog friendly and on rt 66. Very nice staff
