Reviews

It was nice and clean.
-
Breakfast was disappointing, only hot drink was coffee. I prefer tea and just needed hot water.
-
Good stop for a good nights sleep

The management at this motel are the best in Tucumcari. Kind and helpful. Just all around good people. The cleaning staff are also very pleasant.
-
Bedbugs!!!! Stay away staff doesn't care. No refunds no cancellations. Bedbugs galore. Filthy property.

I'm very pleased, and, so long as other Econo Lodges that I stay at, in the possible future, provide a close repeat of this most recent experience, my first choice to stay in, reservations or not, will be Econo Lodge.

We chatted for a few minutes while he was checking me in and you can tell that he loves his job, and not too many people say that. From the moment he checked me in, then he took me to my room and he even unlocked and opened the door for me.. who says chivalry is dead! It's a small town, but the motel is 1 minute right off I-40 West, so very convenient for those who are traveling west. It's a couple miles from town, but there are three restaurants in less than 5 minutes down the road. Its so quiet, and my bed was soooo comfy. I've been on the road for 10 days now and this by far has been the best motel. NO bugs dead or alive anywhere in my room, the shower was great and they had the Hallmark channel YAY l!! :) The only downside was that I didn't have coffee in my room, but the lobby is only a 30-second walk down the hallway. You also can't beat the price..... Usually the old saying says you get what you pay for, but in this case I got a bonus. Sorry for the short novel, but if you need a good place to stay, look no further you have come to the end of you search The End

Location and availability

Overall it wasn’t terrible. Not the best quality. But it was clean.
-
No breakfast, but I would not have eaten there considering the dirtiness of my room. Room very dirty: floor was sticky, room smelled of urine, surfaces grimy.
-
Good deal for the price
-
Hotel was completely abandoned when we got there. Not one single other guest. There was Avery string odor ( which I’m sure was intended to smell clean ) throughout the lobby and hallways. In the room we found a giant dirt/ hairball in the middle of the room. Breakfast bar left a lot to be desired.
-
Breakfast was a bit wimpy.
-
location charged for service dogs, phone didn’t work, cost was too high for room
-
Typical Econo Lodge. There are other similarly priced properties that are independent that I would try next time.
-
Only 1 wash rag for 2 people the windows weren't locked and a bit open not sure why..only few people checked in
-
nothing
-
Staff was able to get us in and out quickly. Breakfast was offered.

I needed a clean room, comfortable bed and a hot shower. It fit the bill perfectly.
