Motel 6 Tucumcari, NM

It was old but clean, but there was definitely something going on with leaky water in my room, which was one of the ground floor rooms around the back and I think it was the fridge which only kind of worked. But it wasn’t bad. I might stay again.

The room was very clean, the smell of cleaner was so strong I had a hard time sleeping. The beds where too small

The pool is NOT in service, has not been for years according to staff. This is a motel 6 so don’t have high hopes. The walls are very thin, I could hear everyone outside. I could hear people walking upstairs, it sounded like stomping.

An old building but very very clean rooms. Staff is awesome no pool no vending ice machines are broke, but they were nice enough to give me some ice from their kitchen very quiet even though it’s an older building and needs a little more maintenance room was spotless no fall odor. Everything was clean clean linens.

Out of all the motel 6 rooms I stayed at this past trip this was the best. At first the room I was given had some issues but Nick moved me to a better room and even helped me move my things. I'm disabled and this was a BIG help to me. Room was clean, quiet and safe.

Met the basic requirements. Was a room with a door. Decent bed, ambitious air conditioner, easy access. Bugs in shower and piled up behind toilet. Shower had a large water stain going half the way across the floor, needed acid wash. General (and usual) lack of electrical outlets.

When we checked in the front desk was very helpful. The problem was the room the TV was nothing but static then there was gum stuck on the TV stand but what really got me was we woke up early to leave and seen bugs on one of our bags.

Nothing Filthy floors , dead roaches and other bugs on floor, TV barely worked, freezer inside fridge was over frozen and couldn’t open, bed uncomfortable. Ice machine inoperable, motel isolated from amenities

Had to sleep with the lights on. So many bugs! Won't be doing that again.

It’s a motel 6 don’t expect more than a hard bed.

Room had lots of damage and bugs. Onsite facilities were very worn down and glass door to main office was broken and felt unsafe opening door to office and lobby.

The grounds were sad, very unkept, poolwas covered, not usable. room had cockroaches and flies( i know they cant help that) sheets were thin and yucky. the room smell was horrible,strong order of dog feces nd urine. i usually do not give bad reviews, i travel a lot for work and have stayed in many low priced hotels, so i give them some grace. i would have walked out of there( first time i ever thought about doing that) but it was prepaid, no refund and it was late. Staff and check in was great tho. I am surprised Motel 6 would allow this condition.

The fact the roof was in tact I was under the impression there was a working pool for my 4 children who spent 9 hours in the car Been out of order 2 years Front door of office has been smashed in and glasses was shattered I had to sleep with 2 12 year olds in a double bed. TV was static in both rooms My door didn't close all the way gap with space for bugs to come in and out as they please "Breakfast" was coffee..another thing I needed for the 4 children in the van for the next morning Not enough towels to accommodate. I paid 60$ for each room 120$ plus taxes . I had no problem paying that when I thought there.would be a POOL, a bed for me, breakfast the next morning and a safe looking environment. TOO much for what I was EXPECTING to get . I grew up in the 80s staying at motel 6 as a kid I wanted to continue the traditional with my children but this experience ruined it for me

The room had a bad smell in it.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The outside condition is very rundown but the room was very clean and comfortable.
