Motel 6 Tupelo, MS - Downtown

Needs to be cleaned thoroughly

We were pleasantly surprised of the quality for Motel 6. It was clean, staff was nice and efficient, location is about a block from the civic center and multiple places to eat.

The price was not bad. It advertises extended cable package. But that's not true there's hardly any channels on the TV. Also I've witnessed the housekeepers literally spend two minutes in a room inconsiderate time I do not understand how you can clean a room in two minutes.

The room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning supplies, so strong it gave a headache. The bathroom was not clean, there was stuff on the back of the door and walls. Pillows were flat and clumping up. Room was run down. Not a pleasant experience at all would not recommend.

I asked the woman at the desk to have my room cleaned after three she tell me no because its the weekend and it's busy because I'm black they treat you any kind of way my wife and I have been here 4 days and paid for another 2 days I'm to and check out if I can get a refund.

Honestly the location was the only thing good about the property. It was disgustingly filthy!!!! Floors were dirty, bathtub was covered in hair and the shower curtain had blood stains, and everything had an old smell to it.

The tile floor in our room was buckling from water damage.

Worst motel 6 I've ever seen. This hotel was low standard back in the early 90s but even then it was bareable. Now it's gotten so bad I'd not let me dogs stay there. The floor is coming up and welping, the beds are uncomfortable and sheets dingy, parking is limited by your room and absolutely no amenities. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the water is hot and has good pressure and is in a convenient and fairly quiet location. Prices are comparable to red roof and super 8 so look into those.

Clean comfortable room

Negatives - The room flooring was dirty & how I knew is my socks were black on the bottom after walking across it :(((. On the back of bed headboard it was thick with dust. The blanket on the bed had a burnt whole in it. The refrigerator appeared old. Sink facet needs replacing. Bed appeared nice until you laid down on it & it made horrible noises. Positives - AC unit worked well & was a good noise buffer so we could sleep.

The location was good the room was clean except a couple of things. But it was comfortable and a great value. Bathtub was dirty and there were a few insects in the room.

The room was very nice and clean . The staff super friendly and helpful. The room does not have a hair dryer, so the staff brought one to me . The only negative was the room was a non smoking room and you could tell that they had smokers in there.

Loved our stay. It was right off the highway and the room was spacious

Didn't eat breakfast No tissues.
