The first floor was scary and dark as soon as we stopped there for a break and to rest they gave us a smoking room on the first floor got to the room and the lights wouldn’t turn on in the room at all. Then the man at the front gave us a room on second floor. We found a dirty needle in the room. It was absolutely disgusting.

The price was spot on and excellent for the hotel and its location. Disappointed there was not breakfast offered of any kind but the staff was soooooo friendly and that made up for not having the breakfast!! Would stay again when back in Tupelo!!

Getting the hell out of there This place was like a Crack house you see in the movies. The since was falling down the bathroom door was kicked in with no hardware. You guys should not ever put this place on your list of hotels. Canceled my reservation as soon as I stepped in. Still waiting for my money

This is a no frills cheap place to crash for the night. The owner is very involved and present. I believe he is what keeps sketchy people from coming around. At the price point it will definitely attach those types of individuals. Don’t come here expecting five star service or a great smelling place. It’s an older building and the hotel has been used a lot. However the bed and sheets were clean. You can take a shower and get a good nights rest at a cheap price. If I was trying to save a little money I would stay again.

The room could have been as advertised, a non-smoking room with a king bed. Instead, I got a smoking room with a double bed (with cigarrette burns in the sheets) and there was a hair dryer in the bathroom with the plug either bitten off or ripped off near the sink in the bathroom (which I think is quite dangerous). I would give no stars because they offered to get me the non smoking room for $50 more than what I had already paid for the smoking room (which I thought was ass-backwards). It made no sense to me that they wouldn't even try to make things right or even safe (the exposed cord in the bathroom near the sink for an example). I wouldn't recommend for long term stay
