Extended Stay America Select Suites - Tuscaloosa

Room had a terrible smell. Was very depressing. No lamp by the bed. Some weird extension thing over the stove was broken. Toilet was dirty. No amenities. Not even a bar of soap. No hair dryer. Door lock wouldn’t latch so I only had the back up lock on the upper door to use. Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The bed was just a metal frame with a mattress. It was awful. I didn’t ask to switch rooms because it was parents weekend at the University and I knew I wouldn’t be in the room much and every other hotel was either sold out or $500 a night. Never stay here. It’s gross and feels like a homeless shelter.

Nothing Disgusting, dirty, smelled horrible . General manager told me she didn’t care and nothing she would do about the horrible experience we had. People above us running and jumping in their room until 2 AM.

I definitely will not be staying here my next trip into town.

Good location, right off the interstate and easy to get to Rooms were small. Furniture looks like it was purchased from a yard sale. Cabinet was missing and the toilet felt like it was about to sink through the floor. Hotel need to be renovated. Will never stay at this property again or any extended stay in the future.

The location was great. There were many stores and restaurants within walking distance and close by. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff very friendly

We didn't enjoy our stay. We refused to check in for the return journey to Texas on July 30 - August 1...so we lost our $ for those two nights. The floors, dusty headboards, rusty old refrigerator, noisy and rattling AC unit, need I continue? Please!!!

They Have Excellent service.

The property is filthy. There is always trash at the doors. My room smelled like smoke for days until I sprayed for multiple days to get it out! Stove was rusted and it was nasty.

The office staff at night was rude and unhelpful. She said her knee was injured and she was only doing what she could and if she couldn’t help due to her injury then oh well.
