SureStay Hotel by Best Western Tuscaloosa Southeast

The main area is adorable with Bama decor! The front desk staff is wonderful. The reason for less stars though is that the floors and rooms were not super clean and well maintained. Beds were decently comfortable thankfully at least.

Proximity to Tuscaloosa and University of Alabama. Upon arrival they only had one of the two rooms for us. Agreed to take just the one room and make it work. They still charged me for two rooms and I have not yet been refunded.

Friendly staff Disrepair of property

The breakfast was good and had a variety of choices. It was available during the hours listed. The staff was friendly at check in. I know the prices were extremely inflated for it being parents week and a home game at the university of Alabama, but the room was very dated and not completely clean. The fridge in the room had no freezer. The TV/ remote were dirty. The room smelled very musty, so much so I had to buy freeze to use in the room. The AC/fan needed help.

I wouldn’t stay there again. If it wasn’t that I was going home the next night I would have complained and asked for another room. The water did not get very warm and the drain in shower and sink both drained extremely slow. It could have been cleaner, floors seemed very gritty. Lady that checked me in was nice and welcoming. Price was very high for the condition of room but it was also a college game near by so was to be expected to a certain degree.

The manager was very rude and un professional.

Stay was great. Hotel is really nice and staff were really nice and helpful. Would definitely book again.

Room was nice and cold. Pet fee (over half of what we paid to stay & my dogs stayed in a crate) No working ice machine, water didn’t get hot, poor breakfast, no coin machine at laundry mat, rooms weren’t exactly clean, sheets were. Throw pillows instead of bed pillows.
