Admiral's Inn on Tybee Island

I would recommend. Rooms clean and neat. Parking was great. Pool needs some updating/sprucing up. We usually like to hang by the pool after a long day in the beach - didn’t because of this.

So... Their staff was SUPER

It was a great stay. Rooms was clean. And soon as you walk in the motel you smell the freshness and the ocean breeze! Everything is nearby by.

The clerk at the front desk was personable, the check in process was very easy. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean and the bathroom had plenty of wash cloths, hand towels and towels. The pool area was clean. The pool temperature was not as warm as I expected but the sun made the difference. I'll definitely return and also recommend to family and friends visiting Tybee Island. Thank you Admirals Inn.

I'd say the best thing was the location. Walking distance to everything. No international breakfast which you think would be included at $200 or more per night. Toilet didn't flush so we had to flush it manually every time. All rooms are located down hallways and there are no elevators so there is no parking right outside your room.

Was located in the heart of all the great restaurants and bars. We were able to walk a short distance for everything. Shower had low water pressure

Nice, updated hotel room with coffee maker, fridge, and microwave! The pool was nice and I liked that it had a privacy fence all the way around it and you could only get into it with your room card. The hotel was a block from the 15th street beach access. The location on South Beach is perfect for walking to everything…we parked our car and never moved it again until we left. The sunsets at Fisherman’s Walk pier (about a 9 minute walk away) were amazing!!! The beds were a little firm for me and the pillows could be replaced but I still slept good. Ask for a room on the 1st floor if you have problems with stairs because they do not have elevator.

Staff was very helpful whenever I had an issue, the rooms were clean and the ac could be set and kept the room real cool. There are a lot of fun things to do and nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Really enjoyed the stay.

Arrived rigjt at check in, 4pm, and was told room was not ready. Front desk attendant would not indicate if it would be 10 minutes or 2 hours, stating she'd call when ready. 1.5 hours later, no call, checked back and informed it was ready. This was disappointing and caused is to miss dinner reservation. No apology, poor attitude. Housekeeping does not service during stay, which was ok, but if longer than 4 days, you may need to change out towels and sheets and have trash emptied. Otherwise, will stay again as it is 1 block to beach, comfortable beds and convenient.

Our luggage was sent to Florida and had to be FedEx’d to the hotel. Cecilia and the staff were very helpful in getting us telephone numbers to call,etc. We would stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable, it’s located across from the beach, pool was nice. They offered water with electrolytes, very good. Staff was great! I loved the shower! Our only complaint was that there was no elevator, it was difficult for us to carry our luggage up the stairs, we are in our 60’s.

the location was amazing, so close to the main beach and great food joints. everything we needed was within walking distance, which is great since you have to pay for parking anywhere on the island. the beds were very soft and lumpy, they could definitely use an upgrade. the walls are super thin, we could hear everything from the rooms around us. an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be ideal and maybe a couple towel racks or hooks to dry towels or bathing suits after a shower, trip to the pool or the beach!

Location ok, no breakfast offered There was a bar across the street from the inn that played loud music all night and kept us awake. Very annoying
