Clean room

I made reservations two months ago for 2 king rooms for a family trip. When we arrived to check in we were told they overbooked the king rooms and we were changed to one double queen room. It put a damper on the stay. The place was clean, the rooms nice.

I liked the location. and it is very close to the outlet.

Only things that could have been better….coffee available earlier in the morning. When you have jet lag and wake up really early coffee is essential. The room machine would work but not without waking others. Also, a bit of a pain to have to go down the the lobby for pool towels (pool is on the 3rd floor) and dependent on the time of day you could wait a while for the elevator. All in all we would highly Recommend Hyatt Waikiki especially of traveling with family.

I had to evacuate from a fire in the next town over at midnight. The staff was welcoming and kind to me, and got me checked in quickly. The room smelled so fresh and clean, but without obnoxious freshener spray smell that hotels sometimes have. This is clearly a well-maintained Marriott property. Continental breakfast is available as well as a 24 hr coffee bar. Best of all, it's almost impossible for me to find beds that are this comfortable in any hotel. The mattresses were soft but supportive and really contributed to a good nights sleep. They also have an indoor pool. Overall, so many amenities! Parking might get a little tight, but the hotel was almost booked out and I managed to find a close spot. If you are traveling with a lot of family or luggage, definitely drop everyone off with bags at the check-in roundabout and ask for bell service. I'm truly tickled to find such a gem of a hotel within 30 minutes. Unfortunately this is not the first nor the last time I will need to evacuate from wild fire, and this way a comfy and peaceful spot to land.

We accidentally left a bag at the hotel, and unfortunately it was never returned to us. We contacted the property, but the bag was not found or returned. This was disappointing and negatively affected our experience.

The hotel stay and accommodations were perfect! Everything was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

Place was okay. Very noisy

The only downside was the pool being out of service. And after prying, they said we could use the pool at the hotel next door (residence inn). However, we came to find out the pool there was closed also. This could had been just a random occurrence so take it with a grain of salt.
